When I was running windows 7 the bot would run fine all night etc.

I recently "upgraded" to windows 8 and now if im using my pc with the bot running it works fine but as soon as I leave my pc the bot will crash the PC within around 30mins.

I have checked my windows power settings and there's nothing that would trigger this in the time-scale.

The computer also crashes if im botting and streaming a movie to my TV from the pc, so its not that the pc is inactive

I checked my db logs and there is no error etc but it appears to happen upon creation of a new game (even tho several games preceded)

heres a log incase I missed something

And please nobody say "just downgrade to windows 7", I am using windows 8 for personal reasons.

Ive never been lucky enough to catch it crash to see what happens, all I know is that when I return to my PC it is at the login screen. It normally happens between 30 mins and a couple of hours after I leave it.

If im streaming a movie (to my TV from my PC) and botting ill have my monitor off and the first I know of the crash is the pc "beep" on restart.

The log doesnt say what happens to d3 / the bot.

edit: I should clarify that the whole pc crashes and restarts

so the whole machine restarts?

hmm,you should check windows event reports in that case

Thanks for the headsup. Nothing around or leading up to the crash time, only the events after the restart (recovered from unexpected restart etc)

Bluescreen reboot ?

Looks like it although as I stated above I havent witness it happen:

are you on a legit copy of Windows?

Re:Tony's question

The opposite of yes.

I understand if your support stops here

i am afraid it has to do with your OS installation
