I tried searching hardcore in the search field but i kept getting Wow stuff and have no idea how to filter the search to only look at exilebuddy information.

I am wondering if exile buddy can run bloodlines/hardcore versions of POE effectively.

If the buddyforums search sucks, I don't use it so..
try any search engine with the following:
site:thebuddyforum.com/exilebuddy-forum [your search term]

That will search just https://www.thebuddyforum.com/exilebuddy-forum and sub-directories for what you are looking for.
