Blizzard's policy on upgrades after expansion

Hi, I have some question to you veteran botters.

I have 3 bots running level 85 (battlechest 4.0). Now it's time for WoD and my question is, what will happen to MoP keys? Will they become free to battlechest 4.0 owners? Will their price get lowered now that MoP isn't the last expansion anymore? Will there be a battlechest 5.0 soon after?

What if I buy a WoD key, will I still need to pay for a MoP key? Will they be bundled?

I know nothing is certain but I'm hoping to hear from those who can remember from past experience of previous launches.

Cata wasn't included with the battlechest 4.0 until long after MoP launch I believe and same goes for wotlk and battlechest 3.0
 
The keys to past expansions aren't given with the release of a new expansion. It usually happens several months after the release of the expansion.

That may change with this expansion though. They've already been upgrading older battlechest accounts to MoP for free in an attempt to get more people playing.

My second account had not been logged in since Cataclysm (2+ years). I had forgotten my account name, account email, and all other info. I spoke with a GM via the web chat service through battle.net. They asked me to verify that it was my account by asking all sorts of questions. After verification the GM advised me that I had been given a Cataclysm AND MoP update for free. So, I currently have an account that I pre-ordered WoD on and got the 90 boost, and I have an account that was upgraded to MoP at no cost to me. I don't know if that answers any of your questions.

Really? I have alot of older battlechest accounts but no such offer?

And no I doubt they'll make mop free maybe a few months or a year after WOD.

It's a joke I put that up when some dude was in moscow airport if you watch the news.

Well I have EU and US accounts like several 10's of US accounts and none has gotten the offer that I know of.

I don't live in moscow and yeah was pretty big news when snowden was stuck at the airport.
Anyhow now sure how this is relevant?
