Blizzard loot

I just watched my bot pick up a level 62 item. The stats: 1 empty socket. That's it. Nothing else. Blizzard sure did a poor job with their loot system.

Yeah, like the guy below you said, not every item is going to be useful. That's the whole point of Diablo is farming. If every single item that dropped, had amazing stats, the game would be 100% pointless. It's about farming for that perfect item, not about finding it every run.

The loot system does not work, it is so freaking simple to farm for items. Go to Act 1, clear the whole thing with 5 stacks, or go to Act 3 if you can handle it, like most players, and farm there, 16% drop rate, especially when you are killing an elite pack every 5 to 10 minutes or less. Just one Act 3 run nets me and my buddies around 1 and 1/2 bank stashes of rares.

Its good he linked that thread, he is closed minded he is. As for the me attacking him, if you notice he was attacking someone else. I simply pointed out his logic was flawed.

Also no one said 0% in MF was the way to go in this thread.

On the contrary, the link shows how I was trying to start a stimulating discussion, with the first reply being relatively blunt. Sure, my response was a bit harsh, but instead of adding to an intelligible thread, people wanted to perpetuate the insults.

You?re obviously intimidated by people that present/comprehend abstract principles and take the headache you receive from reading it as a personal attack? that?s what happens when your brother is your dad; it?s not our fault.

Also, with the information provided, Alfjar?s post implies that given an infinite amount of time; the probability of a ?broken? (256%) drop chance would exceed/equate (60%), thus ?In your world I should just run around with 0% MF? would make sense, because there?s a chance (0%) is also ?broken? and would produce the same results. Sounds like you're the "close minded" one.

Now take your crayons/safety scissors and go make me something nice.
