Blizzard has terminated this World of Warcraft license after identifying the usage of bots or other cheat software.

These programs (commonly called cheats, bots, and hacks) automate certain aspects of gameplay, or provide unintended advantages and abilities to the player. This type of cheating undermines other players' experience and severely upsets the balance of the game environment.

Blizzard reserves the right to terminate access for conduct of this nature, with or without warning, as noted in the World of Warcraft Terms of Use:

Well I got banned. I wasn't AFK or anything, not sure how they would of found out. I am 99% of the time at my keyboard, other times I am using the bathroom, letting my dog out or grabbing something to eat.

I have never botted over night or being away more than 5-10 minutes.

I have been playing on this account since 2006. I already opened a ticket and appealed, right after I got kicked off line and got the email.

So we shall see..
 
Same thing just happened to me today. Only thing I can think of was I used Profession buddy AH feature. I didn't even bot for hours before the ban or when I got banned, I was working on my Blacksmithing. =/ Had that account since Vanilla and got the same message you did.
 
What bots did you use? How long did you bot/day and etc. Was it EU or US? How long have you been botting?

Singular, but I use TuanHa too, I was mainly on my monk and rogue.

around 50

I was playing on Frostmourne but I also played in Aerie Peak and MalGanis (US)

11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account?

I will say this, a rogue named Forcyou with some odd characters in the name asked me for help the day before, and I helped them level in pandoria for a few hours, but I think I remember that name for some reason, like he talked to me before a previous ban. Just be careful because I constantly monitor my toons while I do school work, so it wasn't a ban because of suspicions activity.
 
I lucked out, not gonna bot on my Main account anymore.

I created a new account and upgraded the starter account to the battle chest. If I bot on that account, will they be able to link it with my main? I didn't use my real name, used different email address and different payment method.

Sorry for being snippy, was just upset and had a few drinks. The thing is they could easily detect everyone that is botting, they just choose not to because they would lose a ton of money shutting all the accounts down. I think they just punish people who get reported or those they feel are abusing the economy. Trust me, I know how easy it is for them to see who's doing it, I'm majoring in information science/cyber security 8)

Botting for 8 hours daily is a NO NO since lots of months. You get flagged even for 6hours gathering daily, no matter if ur afk, on the keyboard while botting or even manual farming "by hand" (If anyone still remember what that meant :D)
 
Tbh, I don't see why you should farm GIO in first place (unless you're actually selling gold) when it pretty much gives you an autoban? I prefer to buy the GIO instead and have PB and AHbot running 4-5 hours per day or so, idk if my method have the same risks as GB2.
