The German court system is incredibly slow. We have to wait 2 more weeks before we get a copy of the papers Blizzard filed.
 
Meanwhile Im gathering as much gold and getting fish/archy up cuz those are most boring / hardest to do...

I never was a botter and just did it to get some more gold without having to sacrifice loads of my real time. I have always farmed on a seperate account, and either sold herbs on my own acc or milled them / flasked it in order to get some gold and not really get in the line.

Hope I did well...

here is a board where they sell gold hacks and bots for RoM the law in germany says its against their tos agb and now they closed their board cause of hamburg.
In Hamburg are a bunch of idiots who do everything for enough money ;)
They fight it again in second instance but hamburg is the worst where you can go with that problems!

Dont be so optimistic.

Frogster sues over the regional court Hamburg => this is like a Godmode ***** for them.

I am no lawyer (US or German), however, we are not necessarily safe during the trial. If it is dragged out for years, you can pretty much bet that Blizz will request an injunction, preventing the authentication of accounts by HB. Not only does it accomplish their goal before winning/losing the suit, it stops revenue for HB, making it that much harder to fight in court.

I hope your lawyer uses, and likes, HB, because he may end up being pro-bono soon enough!

Anyone willing to set up a mirror auth. server, not owned/operated by HB? haha.
 
what about the buddy lifetimers those are already here wil they stay like that?

We will support you all the way, it would be REALLY stupid for Blizzard to shut down the bot. Money going down the drain I can tell ya.

But anyways, this bot will survive. You have our support.
 
Well I guess its time to put my bot to work overtime. Best of luck to the Honorbuddy team; Blizzard is going to lose thousands upon thousands of subscribers if they do shut down Honorbuddy, I'm sure of it. And I will be one of them.

Now if any of you know what a root kit is it is a program and just a program but the way they work is they hide and they hide well plus there told to do what there told to do in most cases root kits are program to steal credit card info but in the case of what there parent program was going to do was to close down programs blizzard did not want running while wow.exe was running namely this bot rather interesting program it is...Even to someone trained to add them to a Anti-Virus database they find it hard as well for many different reasons all depends really to complex to explain

Not sure if the makers of the bot know this but if blizzard wins I am sure they will recover there money too from law costs it states that is the ToU and the ToS so you may want to be careful trying to fight a multi billion dollar business like them

I have said this many times over in the forums here I do not bot but find the subject interesting

Also I am sure they would be after the users of this bot as well that may be there next cause of action in a law suit after getting it closed down if they win

I see bots in the game all the time and there easy to spot as there un natural on what they do and how they act because in most cases they can not protect them self from a real player

Blizzard are doing this as they have spent too much time trying to break it in game that can cause problems to as they can recover cost there as well if they wanted too I say they have had jack shit of this program now it is time to close it and they will hit pretty hard I say not sure what happen to glider but my under standing is they got closed as well and blizzard is now owed by the makers of glider
