Data protection law means there is no way we can or would release user details to Blizzard.
And our celebrity guest in today's episode of the grammar show is...Under all computer laws if it is requested by a judge to give up personal details you can choose not too but you will remain in goal until you give up the required information
Computer laws are very heavy they are compared to other laws
Your info is stored on a pc so it is covered under computer laws
Computer hackers can get 25 years to life they can under some country laws as breaking into a pc is really bad if someone does manage to damage it think of it this way if someone managed to break into MIcrosofts bank account where the company keeps everything it could bankrupt the company this is why pc laws are very heavy compared to other laws it took me a while to understand why as if a company like Microsoft did lose all info because of a hacker over 250k employees would be effected

Don't you dare argue now, the man obviously has a degree in law!what ?
See and I thought HE was pointing out, that the guy who's never heard of punctuation knows jackshit about law and it was I that was pointing out the lacking use of periods and commas, that is before I agreed to teh boss through a cynical remark about the said poster. He was pointing out that the gentleman before him neglected to use periods anywhere in his ramblings...
Open source would mean Blizzard has access to the code too which = easier bans for them.
yes put also open source = thousands and thousands of developers work on it and hell of new ideas / methods of circumventing warden and improving the bot. not mentioning people joining for educational purposes ,blizzard will go broke just trying to keep with that pace.
I am not holding my mouth on such stuff, actually on none.
I did not see why it should be relevant to speak about open source at all. Honorbuddy now has over 200.000 lines of code, not a single line of that is written by me personally ( that something that most ppl do not know ), its written by our employees. That employees have a standard contract with the GmbH ( engl. Ltd ) and get paid month for month. They are still working on HB.
I hope anyone can see that opensource is no option here, there are few point that would speak against it. Right now i control what gets in the code or not, and what becomes part of HB, so you do not see any cheats included in HB, no noclip, no flying-hack, no teleporting and so on. Second, and most common argument from my side is, that while in court vs Activision Blizzard for the next 2-4 years, we need to finance that. I do not really know how much that case will consume, but it will not be few bucks.
Thats why i do not get into talk about opensource, it has no relevance at all.
hey can you buy honorbuddy lifetime or is it still just for 1 year?
