Blizzard fails to hurt bots

Far from the truth. Most of the user base who may have left are just too dumb *cough I would say lack patience, but those people are beyond that with their attitudes* to figure out how to use the program, some of those people are too open about botting (sharing) which results in their ban then blame HB in some way. The other user base are pissed off about the store and ludicrous price schemes for profiles and plugins which took away from the entire point of the botting community base and most of us have lives.

No I dont fully agree, I would say alot have realized that HB has become a huget target to Blizz, and blizzard has found a way to ride the fence. Pulling cash from wow subscribers that bot with HB and yet still appease thier clients that scream to get rid of bots. They hand out temp bans only becasue they dont want to loose a big portion of players that actually help stimulate servers in player base that knows how things are done and also economy.

Its a win win for Blizz for now. But as time passses and content gets boring it will fade away and not be worth buying all the extras you need just to be able to hit the start button on your Bot.

And by the way, you get caught using any other bot other than HB and its usually if not always a perma ban.

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to prove with your post. Your post clearly says that botters are leaving and even went as far as to repeat my theory on the store hurting HB.

So again, I ask, where was I far from the truth?

Yeah, it's the reputation you made with that character -with real people -that counts.

Sure, guildies will have your back if you return but it hurts them as well as yourself and no one (who doesn't bot) really wants to (or should want to) support 'your' choice to bot. It's kind of an insult to non-botters, and returning to use a bot perpetuates the problem -you may get banned again and the cycle continues.

Someone already mentioned PVP teams, same applies.

Sure if you're a lone-wolf (and you should be if you bot for personal/mass Gold gains) then the above doesn't apply, but for the rest what hurts the most if the reputation you've lost amongst your peers rather than lost time. Just being out of sync with your peers sucks enough to hurt just the least to make some reconsider playing legit.

Sorry to hijack the post but do you use the same bnet for your bot accounts? Or do you make a new Bnet for every one?

i have 10 battle net accounts 50+ accounts . 1 permanent bad, 6x 6 month ban , and 10 active . never had guild delete , never had wow token delete , and never had a battle net account ban .

Do you ever have an issue with a main account getting banned even though you never botted on it? I don't want to link a wow account to my Bnet to have it get banned then get my main banned.

I do not have my account linked nor do i run bots on the same PC as my main system. That is my personal preference,

^^ if you want to keep it do not bot with it ^^ i do the same i use work computers for botting and home for my main account .i work slow over time to help my main account so i do not get caught helping or being helped by a Bot,,,

So if my main account on my b.net is banned, I can just add another one to that? This new account would have 0 characters, but still have all of my heirlooms, mounts, achievements, pets, etc?

well if the battle net account is banned you cant use it at all. if the wow account is banned. you can just add a new wow account up to 8 per battle net. you will still have all battle net account bound items

really rare to get a battle net ban or suspension

even if banned the mounts achieves pets etc all still share across the bnet not just suspension
