Blizzard closed 2 of my accounts

So the other day I got a funny email in the morning when I woke up. Blizzard closed my main account and one of the other accounts. :D

Reason: Abuse of the Economy.

I transferred 3k from one account to the other and they closed them both, then they said I was gold selling and using a *****.

Any way I got both the accounts unbanned eventually, since I told them that I owned both of them, but I jsut think it's funny, GMs are getting really cheeky, I think these people should realise who the fuck pays their salaries...

Any way, I've been getting a lot of GM heat in the last month, it's getting annoying, do you guys think this will get better when 5.2 comes?
 
Can I ask...... did you sell gold on those accounts ? were you abusing the AH ? I have my main account and another. I always transfer 50 plus sometimes between them...... so just interested if your saying that you just transfer 3k and that was it or in fact you had been doing other things.

im hoping 5.2 will bring out bugs, so they will have their hands ful actioning problems. (i can only hope) lol
 
The gm wasnt cheeky :) be aware, since you are both transfering gold from one
to another, i hope you are smart enough to do this via guildbank. Anything else is
way to easy to trace to link the 2 accounts together. So if one goes down for whatever
reason blizzard specifies in whatever mail, the other one prolly will go aswell.

5.2 wont change this i think, since this is not normal player reports. Gm's are
more then ever active hunting for bots, and my best guess is that one of the
abilities hb uses to move is detected.

No, the bot is not, naysayers, but i do believe they are tracking pathing and x times
same movement / known bug spots aka (f)un(c)(k)stuck feature the bot has.

Its all way to obvious.

Hey no I have never sold gold and I have moved low quantities of gold between multiple accounts for ages, I level a character and after I buy flying mount and stuff I always have an excess of gold so I just transfer it back to my main account. But it's never more than 5k max. I'm aware of using guild to sell gold I just didn't think GMs would kick up such a fuss over a measley 3k when I'm the owner of the accounts any way, I mean, you might as well ban multi boxers while you're at it too :P
 
multi boxers are getting banned massively, only difference is, when they call, theyre account
gets unbanned on the spot.
 
I don't know man I just feel like Blizzard is going about this the wrong way. Not every one bots for cash and it's not us who are making millions of dollars from this game. If they want to attack someone why don't they go after gold selling companies ?
 
botting is illegal, doesnt matter how you do it. Maybe
you want to read blizzards forum for a change and see
how the pvp playerbase for example is raging like a 12 yr
old on steroids about the bots in bg's / arenas.

They have to act or they lose more then they would lose
by banning bots only, legit players will leave.
 
Oh please, the PvP player base, specially the ones on Battlegrounds are always raging like 12 year olds. What's new? They will just find something new to complain about as soon as Blizzard fixes the problem they are currently whining on....
 
idk why they would ban you for trading 3k gold thats like chump change. I wonder if non botters are scared to trade gold also?

franco2790 is no tool. Not that I know him/her personally. But 8 years in this game and 3 of them playing on various pvp servers proves to me at least, his words are valid. First unskilled whiner that I hand thier back side to them, proves it too. The crying begins everytime and I don't use the bot ever in pvp. I have more fun killing the ones I think are using a bot too. lol Not that I'm against botting (least I wouldn't be here), but I like killing the kiddies and testing my real keyboard and key punching skills in pvp against a bot too.

To the OP.

Sorry you got some punchy GM/ Just hope I dont' have a toon on whatever server it is you're on. So far, I've been quite lucky and I transfer monies in game, almost on a daily basis between my two accounts. I'd say you found you a GM that has a hard one for you. Just dont' bend over and take it from them.
