Blizz Warning

well, just saying, this is my theory. Blizzard is having hard times atm and they need to sell gold to make an extra buck ;) So they are scamming people out of all their monies!

blizzard would not do bad business in that manner, they would want return customers if they actually sold gold.. only worthless low lives do business like that, eventually their scams will come to an end on its own and they will be forced to suicide in order to earn a living

it is from blizzard and not a scam !!! iv seen the in-game and emails before and it is because you would have done the trade out side a major city and blizzard can track currency exchanges as they have a alert system for xxxxxxxxx amount of gold this however is negated when done in a major city as currency of that amount is exchanged almost every minute of the day. however the person i counselled over the matter didn't have the gold taken off them and i just suggested they only use one bot for the next few weeks and reduce node farming after 2 weeks they went back to normal and they are botting as normal now.

hope this helped

You got an ingame Blizzard mail and they sent the 30k gold to original owner?

Grats. Your gold which you bought from the site WAS STOLEN from someone else.

Blizzard made the biggest favor to you by not banning you. Because, they are not childeren to decieve and they obviously know that the gold which has been returned to original owner WAS BOUGHT.

Good for you that you did not lose your account. Act with care and DO NOT BUY FROM THEM again.

Blizzard does not ban gold buyers only sellers. This has been discussed before and this has happened to other people.

not the point. main topic of this thread was "blizz warning" which originated from him buying gold...simple answer, as i stated, is not to buy gold in the first place.

blizzard does not ban for buying gold only when you sell it....

well...
some of u told me i should report the site.. not to blizz but to you because u sell gold to them.. or smthing.

well... this all happend when i bought gold on Cheap SWTOR Credits for sale, Buy WOW Gold and Diablo 3 Gold at GOLDAH.COM!
u can get the gold there extremely low somethimes.. and now i know why xD
if they hack back the gold right after. they are scumbags..

and i mean.. what if they dident hack it? but just reported the 31500 gold stolen right after they traded me?
then blizzard took it back and sendt me the mail.
so the Cheap SWTOR Credits for sale, Buy WOW Gold and Diablo 3 Gold at GOLDAH.COM! just gave me the gold and reported that they got hacked.

thats what i think happend

on this website - Impact of Buying Gold - Services - World of Warcraft

Blizard say " Players who choose to buy gold and support these exploitive companies may find the purchased gold removed from their account so that it can be returned to the rightful character. "

Then do not mention anything about a ban or being suspended. They clearly state that gold will be taken off you and return to the righful owner.

i think you are right honeybrew...
sounds like it was blizzard mailing me...

Back in tbc and vanilla yes they banned. But they currently only remove the gold they no longer ban buyers.

Guys this is not fake it happened to me as well before i started botting approx 2 months ago, I bought gold and instantly the below email (100% genuine from blizzard) followed by in-game mail from blizzard as well. I am well educated so trust that I wasn't some simpleton that just believes everything he reads in his mailbox, and yes i know how to check for masked email addressed. It simply explained that buying gold ruins the in-game economy and that I have been given a warning. In my case however the gold was not removed. To be clear I was not botting and i bought gold not sold it.

Here's the email:

Greetings,

Account Name: XXXXXXXXX (Which was bang on as well, i don't have the traditional WoW1 account).

In light of some recent activity on your World of Warcraft account, we?d like make sure you?re aware of the negative impact that buying gold from third-party companies has on the World of Warcraft community -- as well as the potential consequences for players who are found to be using such services.

Every day, we encounter players who have been victims of in-game scams or whose Battle.net accounts have been stolen, and who log in one day to find their characters? inventories have been stripped of gold and other valuable items. The overwhelming majority of these scams and thefts are conducted by unethical third-party companies that sell stolen gold to other players for real money. Accounts of players who choose to buy gold and support these exploitive companies may be subject to a variety of account penalties, including the removal of purchased gold so it can be returned to the rightful character.

Third-party gold-selling companies frequently prey upon dedicated players -- often including their own customers -- without regard to the disruption their actions cause to the game and other World of Warcraft players. Ultimately, without players? support, these companies have no way to continue their unethical actions, and that?s why we encourage the community to refrain from using their services.

Additional information on the negative impact of purchasing gold, as well as some important information on how you can protect your account from theft, can be found on our website at: Impact of Buying Gold - Services - World of Warcraft

Thank you for helping us keep World of Warcraft a fun and safe environment for all of our players.

Regards,

why would u buy gold if u bot ??? thats just stupid....

its a scam blizzard bans first asks questions later

It is extremely easy to use the blizzard picture's and icons.....it is even extremely easy to make an email look like it came from blizzards official email address's , if it was blizzard you would be on a temp ban at least 72hours.

Also the reason why the person left some gold on your account is because they were hoping you would believe it was blizzard, that way they can come back and take more gold later on when you have purchased more.

i would be highly leaning towards the site you purchased gold from as the culprit.
Could you explain me how to replicate the Blizz pic and icon with ingame mail.
Excuse me If im wrong, but hard trolling and missinformation you have shared with us.
