For me the very first day of 1.0.4 I found 10 level 63 weapons with under 300 dps and about 2 with 900 dps out of about 15 in total. I really don't think the drops are any different today than they were day 1.

I have to admit, drops have been shit the past few days. Then again, as some have pointed out, the sample is simply way to small to deduce anything out of it.

I'm simply giving it some more time. The thing I have noticed is that my items won't sell nearly as fast or at all. It looks like 900dps 1h-ers are not selling, even with good stats on them. Let alone 800dps 1h-ers, with decent stats (for 1M), that most players should be able to afford, and should be a big upgrade if they haven't played inferno yet...

some people are real drama queens.. the following is not my opinion but it is the truth..

dont act like blizzard is rigging the real life economy - in the end EVEN IF THEY DID NERF DROPRATES (which i dont think is true).. it is entirely up to them what they do within their game that has its own economy that is in fact created by them anyways..

fact is: they can do whatever they want really.. (it might have consequences in PR but something like this is a minor issue compared to other stuff they had to deal with i.e. servers being down constantly, not enough endcontent etc.)
