Blizz and Rotations

Hey all, Just wanted to ask if Blizz bans you and if they can catch you for just using HB for rotations?

Has it ever happend to anyone yet?

there is always a risk of ban when you break the game's ToS. but if you are smart, dont bring attention to yourself, dont bot for days on end etc. you have more chance to evade any bans!

No you don't, even if you use only CR's for raids 2-3 times a week you will get banned if they detect it, simple. The times when you were banned for excessive farming is over, detection made different rules now.

totally wrong! :) If you use the bot less often you are safer that is a fact

The HB developers are the best but we have to be smart buddies and help them out as much as we can :D
 
The previous ban waves the bot was detected so it does not matter how smart you bot but recently hb seems to made improvements to a avoid detection all my accounts are safe botting 18 hrs per day
 
It doesn't matter how "smart" you bot. If detected, you get banned, even for just running CR's in raids. You should still be as careful as possible because detection isn't the only means they use to catch botters. So yes I suppose you are "safer" using it less often and being "smart" because you may avoid being caught through reports, but ultimately you should expect to be banned. Even the HB team will tell you that. They don't say if you bot, you might get banned. They straight up tell you that if you bot you WILL be banned. I respect them for their honesty in that regard.

even with detection you are safer if you only use the bot sparingly :) look at the last tripwire event, you were only in risk if you logged within few hours of it, so obviously if you are using the bot less you have less chance of logging in at a bad time. Very simple! :D

Yea I agree that the less often you use it, the safer you are, but you seem to be assuming that the only threat of detection was during the actual event and historically that has not been the case. I hope everyone is safe, but I wouldn't count on it. In 3 weeks a massive banwave may hit based on events that lead up to the tripwire. I'm not trying the be pessimistic or fear-monger, but that has happen in the recent past.
 
If there is a detection, it does not matter how you botted nor for how long you botted. If you have the bot attached when blizz detects the program you will get banned.
 
i botted on same account since Glider and changed to HB when it came out and I am still not banned nore have i ever been banned.

it doesend matter if you bot 5 hours 10 or 18 or 24/7 if you bot you could be banned the first hour few minutes thats what we have to deal with so im just botting 24/7 i got banned befor plenty times while only botting 8 hours a day with some breaks in it

so since you're so smart and allknowing is by your clever judgment botting 4 hours in a WEEK too much and unsafe? To be clear, 4 hours one day per week (to clear end raid wich is on farm and usually lasts less than 4 hours).
Because by what you're saying using only CR's and low amount of time (wich I find 4 hours a week is very low) is practically undetectable.....strange I have 2 accounts banned that way. Never grinded, never farmed, only CR and only with the guild, no LFR's even.

By this time you realized you're not so smart so I will say again what everyone already knows if HB is detected you get banned even if you use HB 1 minute per day.
Hell I could think of 10 ways to detect bots right now and it wouldn't trigger tripwire.

a troll doesn't post facts backed up by evidence and clear arguments :)

some people are offended by the truth, esp. when it doesn't fit their doom and gloom narrative!! :D

i can find the post by chinajade if you want where he says its safer not to use the bot for long periods? or you can search it yourself, stop spreading fear and hate and appreciate the amazing works the HB devs are doing to keep us safe
