Blacklist FAIL!!

ok here is the spot i have manually blacklisted again and again but every time there is a herb there bot dont ignore it try to take it and failing ofc coz the 5 mobs there (85 warrior with 83-84 green items)

anyone can tell me what i do wrong?!!?

hrhr. I got exactly the same issue. Blacklisted it like 10 times, but toon keeps dying there :/
 
When you click Blacklist button did you copy that area and paste it into your badnodes file and save it?
 
the gatherbuddy have button with name "Blacklist Here" i pressed it 3 times in different spots near there (1 yard between every spot) and when i open my badnotes there was indeed 3 diferent blacklisted spots.
so the GB have record my blacklisted spots correctly!
 
Doesn't work for me either, tried using other people's bad nodes, blacklisted 5 points around and on the node and my shaman still keep going to his doom. Gave up botting on him there and used my blood dk instead. She doesn't have any problems handling them so it's kinda a quick fix for me. Wish I can bot the only shaman again without fearing wasting a couple of hours due to ressurruction sickness and repairs etc. Lol, speak of the devil, my dk is currently fighting those 5 mobs while I'm typing this sentence, I'm not kidding xD
 
its more simple to someone tell me why the blacklist option is not working...
 
Have you set a radius for that blacklisted node? I blacklist all nodes by hand, so I klick the "my position" button, copy the coords, open the profile and paste it to blacknodes. I set a radius about 100-150 for each blacklist. Works good for me.

Edit: Oh sorry man, you talk about Gatherbuddy. I was speaking of GB2 :cool:

From what I can tell your Badnodes.xml file is perfectly fine, and I'm assuming when you look at Debug.html it doesn't show any errors during it's loading of Badnodes?
It probably won't change anything, but put the actual herbs name where it says "Blacklisted Spot" and also change the comment area to something you understand. I had the same sort of problem where the bot would get stuck forever at one location, and somehow changing the name to match the node, and also changing the comment (Taking out the space at the end, weird I know) fixed it.
Then run it again, and post your debug file plz
 
My DK used to die there with GB1, but now with GB2, he actually can kill them. I just have all the BoE gear available (the PvP stuff mostly) I keep having issues in Hyjal with Baron Geddon, however.
 
Try chaning the name to the name of the herb (whiptail) if still having the same issue post a debug please
 
i am having the same issue; i will post my debug if the bot goes to that location again.

i modified the badnodes file, i swapped the commas for periods, took out the space at the end, changed the name to Whiptail, etc.

let's wait and see!

Hmm wait? Commas? If you used the blacklist node button no commas should be present. If you used the "current location" button you just need to put the location in without commas.

for some reason, when i hit "current location" it separates the coordinates with commas and puts commas isntead of periods in the coordinates. would it have anything to do with the fact that im in canada? (maybe we have a different way to write down numbers i don't know)

yep; that was the issue. the periods in coordinates were replaced with commas because of how it works in canada.

i edited the badnodes file, and its working like a charm :D

In some comment tags there have been spaces, but since you changed the name, and your waypoint looks fine, it doesn't appear to be your fault. Create a new thread in the Support Forums, and give a link back to this thread. Hopefully one of the devs can help you out more.
