BigSister - A Gatherbuddy / Honorbuddy Restarter and Relogger - Beta Phase

Just let you know that somebody have stolen my Gold. All of my Gold. And i just used BigSister. Nothing else...

And in BigSister is a Acc/Pw type-in so i don't know. I don't use it anymore.

I have used this relogger for long time. But now it says Beta test is over.

I have update it but it still says Beta test is over,

What is wrong?

First off, I do not steal any info from you. You can check it with a packet sniffer (safer way to check if any info is sent to the dev).

Then, I do not have any interest in stealing anyones accounts, I can barely pay for my own, much less steal anyone elses account (that in turn i would have to pay monthly fee for).

My software (programs and other code such as plugins and fixes) is running on WoW bot uses for years and no one has ever lost anything from my code. Sure, others have used opensource code and put in their "malicious" stuff, but not me, I like to think of myself as a builder, not a destroyer (same way a "hacker isnt a cracker", non-nerds probably wont understand this statement tho). After that, I have some "street rep" in the wow botting universe, and i wouldnt even post anything malicious with my "name" in it.

About the beta test is over message, I put it in so to force people to update the software, so that they always had the newest version when reporting a bug, so that i wouldnt go around in circles trying to fix a bug that doesnt exist anymore. Unfortunately, even after i put almost 2 months of time in advance, I havent had much time to do anything else other than school stuff, thus, I didnt update BigSister (its not a priority in my life, i am sorry). The "beta test is over" system works by date, so, setting your date back will "trick" the program into thinking its an earlier date, since this is trivial i didnt put up any advanced "cheating" detection system, so you can safely trick it all you want, after all the computer is yours and i have to buiseness harming your computer because you changed the date.

Furtunately, there is other people that have some time to continue this project, so, I will be talking to them in order to try and see that this project gets updated. No developer wants his projects to die just because he has no time for them.

I am going to take off the beta test thingy and upload a new version with just that change and some extra threading improvement code that I have learn (when you stop learning it means your dead :)

I havent tried HB2, since I havent even used HB/GB since the start of April, however, If you use the "light mode", you should be able to run it without any problems, and without any modification, I could be wrong tho, since I havent tested it.

Have fun!

I posted this in another post, but applies here as well. Why don't people provide source code for stull like this? I honestly understand the credit thing, but if multiple people worked on this kind of thing (the original author could approved the changes), the turn around for bug fixes/feature additions would be WAY faster. Not to mention the fact that you have multiple eyes looking at code for problem resolution and overall application improvement. Tons of people could make minor improvements and it would increase the overall usability of the program. I was planning on making one of these, but don't want to waste my time reinventing the wheel here. I'd rather work with other people, but if no one's going to open their code up, I'll just start one up that has the code posted. I just REALLY hope it doesn't get to that.

Were all a team here people and anything that has the potential to prevent bans/increse leveling speed is worth working on togather. I don't know how many of the application writer's here are professional developers (I am, btw), but this project shouldn't take two months to write... unless your doing it alone on you spare time, which I applaud. If your willing to get some help, I'm willing to help.

Code isnt open source, however, i dont have anything against having other devs looking and coding it, I just dont want to openly give out the source of my months of work, just to have some dude copy, adapt, add features and provide it as a paid service from my code...

That said, I was always looking for people to help me out, and I give credit to everyone who does help me. And I already have an agreement with Sy (Sy relogger), he helpd me with his code to fix some problems people were having (namely the renaming of servers), and he now has more time to program again, so we are taking steps to work both on the project, so it doesnt get cold when one of us doesnt have time.

That said (i know i repeat myself), if you want in, PM me some of your previous work and we can talk later :) (if you agree on not using my code or others code on private versions or paid versions of it or forks for that matter). And yes, I am working on it on my spare time (that is very few these days), and also, i dont have time to bot or play wow anymore, still i keepd developing this (havent open wow since March xD)
