big sales like the 7500$ EF that just happened

I was wondering if anyone could help me out and lemme know of a service or digital escrow that exists for making substantial dollar transactions outside of game for perfect roll items etc. For example, that ef that just sold for 7500 euros. I can't imagine that transaction going down blindly from either side and imagine some sort of escrow service would have made the exchange on each behalf. What service or means of exchange could be used for a large sale like that?

Western Union. 100% safe for the seller, but they charge a high fee. To send 7500 US dollars it would cost $350 (that stays in the US, does not go out of the country. The fees are higher depending on where it goes)

I can't imagine western union acting like an escrow in the transaction. The actual transfer of currency isn't the issue, it's the protection and assurance of completion on both sides of the transaction. That's why I'm looking for info on how to do such a thing, I'll have to check that playerauctions. Thanks for the ideas guys

Have you checked escrow.com? they show a fee of $170 for a $7500 transaction.

for $7500 id just drive or fly out there if its less than $1000 ticket... bring laptop and hire some bodyguards off craigslist just in case (should be pretty cheap, $20 or so for each one less than an hours work). do the transaction in person and have the person hand you cold hard cash and you both have laptops there to do the in game transaction live and in person. no hard feelings on either side and no charge back nonsense. plus you get a free vacation out of it and meet some interesting people

I have not tried escrow.com, but they dont look like they would handle a d3 in game trade very well. Like that's a real escrow site. Need one catered to the task at hand liek that playerauctions perhaps
