[PAID] BGFarmer - An Advanced Battleground Bot Base

Howdy. I'm on the 1 day trial, and in playing Ashran I notice that the bot charges at elite mobs and proceeds to get stomped. Is there a tweak or setting I can change this so he actively avoids these elite mobs, perhaps unless X people are attacking it? He died a few times in a row. Very frustrating. Thank you.

The bot was defending farm and there were enemies incoming. So what i think happend is that the bot attacked one of the incomming enemies moved from the zone 'farm' to the zone 'arathi basin' while calling in. Just bad luck i guess.

I've another questing, isn't it possible to give enemies closer to the flag a higher attack priority? I've seen a few times that the bot was defending a base (farm for an exeample), two enemies come to capture the base. I attack one and the other caps the base.

I'm reducing the distance from flag before allowing call incoming just to be sure.

It should try and interrupt people capping flag. It will print into the log file "<name> is capturing banner. Switching targets."

Hi.

Is there any option so idont attack other players in Ashran? i just want to stealth around out of combat.

I use TuanHa Rogue as routine.

Edit..

Can i turn off this function?? [BGFarmer] Found enemy player to attack: Lvl 100 Alliance Priest

Will add a setting to allow disabling that force attack logic.

Playing as a rogue, the bot constantly looks like it's changing it's mind just before initiating combat in stealth. My character will run to the target then turn around at about 10 yards then ping pongs back and forth between 10-30 yards from target. The problem doesn't happen when I'm out of stealth.

I'm using TuanHA free with movement disabled.

The bot seems to be applying blackspots for high enemy presence rather than initiating combat when this happens.

Need a log file for this one to see what's going on please

Couple things with Ashran I've noticed, maybe I'm doing something wrong. This never auto accepts invites for me even though the option is checked, also it broadcasts once when I enter for a group but then never again, sometimes I don't always get a group on the first shout. Is there a way for it do to multiple shouts for groups until I get one? Great botbase Millz, I've been using this for a long time and its always been top notch, thanks.

It does auto accept invites, but the popups stay visible.

Asking for invites in chat has a fairly long random delay on it to prevent looking like a bot. It'll keep asking until you get into a group though. It's worth randomizing the messages... "inv please|invite to group|invite me please" etc.

Great BotBase, one feature I would like is the ability to turn off the mini-boss found feature. I play as horde and it often runs from the group on a suicide mission into an army of alliance with the big tree boss.

Will add this

I tried the trial for a day and i liked it alot!
Still i got one question, you linked the youtube video showing that all people using normal BGbuddy walk in the same pattern.
But when more/alot of users start using your BGbot won't it turn out the same way?

No, and even less so with the custom navigator enabled. BGFarmer is a lot smarter about what to do and when, and has lots of factors which determines which paths to take and where to go. BGBuddy is a fairly set script of goto A, then B, then C.

In Ashran bot seems to be having trouble with events, example included when race was on lap 2 of 3, the announcement for Molten Quarry appeared, the bot then mounted up running away from the event before it finished. Possible to add in a check for event completion before moving to next event? Check could be based on conquest and honor earned.

Could there also be a feature to disable looking for enemy players in Ashran and to loot corpses, could be the combat routine but I noticed it never loots the artifact fragments from the mobs

Does this bot assume all players are alliance? In Isle the bot runs down to docks solo. That is just silly as hell.

Also, why does the bot run in circles and click back and forth when there are people fighting right in front of me? It looks like a bot. Maybe I need to change some setting?

Why does it stutter walk? Looks suspicious as hell.

love your botbase.
1 A problem I have ful pvp gear which is 620/670 upgrades in a bg, however the bot changes to my i 640 pve piece instead which is lower in a bg. Can it be fixed.
2 In Ashran alliance, the bot sometimes runs behind keep and out of the bg to the staging area then back to zone at side and back to staging area and so forth trying to find larges friendly group, looks extremely bottish and is asking for a ban, urgent fix needed.

U tried disabling Auto Equip in HB settings ?

Yeah fixing this event stuff in next build.

Looting doesn't seem to be working correctly, I'll look into this soon - not a huge issue at the moment.

Is there a setting for making it run carts in Deepwind Gorge?

No, doesn't grab the carts, just focuses on bases.

IoC needs some work - it's on my to-do list. Ashran is taking a bit of focus at the moment due to it's popularity.

For the other issues I need a log file to see what's happening.

1) AutoEquip issue, BGFarmer doesn't equip any items.
2) Yeah I've got a fix for this, but the having some issues due to store rule changes - hopefully get a new build out today.

One other Ashran-related thing - at times, I'll release and wind up in a graveyard that the other faction just took control of. So I'll be standing there with no spirit healer and no way to rez, you have to run back to your faction's base to do it. The bot will either just stand around, or run around as if it were alive.

If there's some way to detect, "dead, no spirit healer nearby or no pending rez," and have it run back to your base's gy to respawn, that would help a lot with afk-ability.

[edit] Just saw something in the update notes that looks related, hopefully that does it...

[edit again] Nope, it's either hopping around the graveyard, or repeatedly using "return to graveyard," it's not going somewhere it can actually rez at.

Tried the trial... running around at the Hangar most of the time.

Just looked weird.

Tried Alterac also... and I guess there's quite a lot using this bot now since so many runs at EXACTLY the same paths all the time. xD

In AB your bot just sits at stables AFK with 4 - 5 alliance players around all just guarding an uncontested base.... Is there anyway to get it to not just afk at the first base getting spam reported by literally everyone that walks by. For a bott that is "Trying to win" it sure did a good job of sitting at home when we were 3 capped instead of following allies to enemy bases to try and contest.

Not sure what im doing wrong entered ashran started program and I just sit there :( any advice welcome......... this is the trial version im using

Hey - I'm aware of this bug, will look to fixing it soon.

IoC needs work, it's on my to-do list - agree it's not ideal - I have some plans for it though re-using some of Ashran's logic.

Running similar paths -> You can either enable the custom navigator (but I'd recommend keeping an eye on it), or you can add blackspots using the navigation tab to make the bot take slightly different paths.

There's plenty of settings to alter this behaviour on the BG Specific tab, also, post a log file if you're having issues please.

Make sure you've got Ashran selected in the GUI from the drop down list.

Can someone tell me off the top of their head if this botbase is or tuanha's druid routine, is pre-hotting out of combat standing at objectives? And if which where is the setting to turn it off? Thanks in advance!

As of last night my Ashran bot has basically given up on following party members. It has worked really well until I had to reload last night. Keep checking settings and disabled follow party, re-enable, etc... He just kind of runs in circles looking for POI so I end up baby sitting it because at points he's managed to run out of the Ashran area when he gets spawned into the grave yard.

Not sure if there was an update as of yesterday or not.

Edit... Just got it in another group and now has no issue following group. I'll watch it a little more.

That is Tuanha's routine doing that.

I am trying to make this work with HBRelog and it does. However, when I reach 4000 honor and the bots stops HBRelog starts it again. Can that be prevented somehow?

It'll be in tuanha's druid routine. If I remember correctly it's an option called Attack out of combat, or something similar.

There is a plug-in called LogMeOut, which you can use to kill Honorbuddy and HBRelog when you get 4000 honour.

I'll change the code to stop HBRelog in the next build.
