[PAID] BGFarmer - An Advanced Battleground Bot Base

Just bought this and so far its awesome! I love the chat feature and the rest of the features are awesome and its easy to setup! great job will report any bugs I find.

Edit: Did have 1 bug on SoTa it would go from the start run to green gate and run into the door instead of going up past the cannon and dropping down if your on the defense side, not sure if its the same on the blue side as-well.

Would be nice to add a "ignore NPC" option for AV. It makes me extremely obvious as a botter to stutter like a madman trying to kill any and every NPC who runs by me.

For example, if a bowman on a tower shoots me, I *have* to kill that bowman. No matter what. I will run into this tower for 20 minutes if I have to, I will run in circles for hours on end, but this bowman has to die.

Or I'm getting ready to sneak into this base and.. wait, a wolf? Yeah, I gotta kill that wolf. Ok now I'm in the base and.. wait, an Elite NPC? I gotta kill it. And this blacksmith. And everything else that botters do.

Would be nice for the option to disable open field NPC aggro (like wolves/scouts/etc), tower/bunker guards, and base guards. Along with the miniboss, of course. That way I can ignore a scout and kill the tower guards, or ignore everything, or kill just the scouts. Options.

i am thinking about purchasind the BotBase. 25euro seems ok. but i am not really sure i need it or not. i would like to see the difference between bgbuddy and your piece of work. for sure it is a nice to have, but i am not the hardcore pvp type. just need some honor for the initial eqiuipping.
did you ever think of releasing a paid trial version? cheaper but time limited?
1 day for an euro, or something like this?
would be nice for users to see what it really does,
and maybe it is nice for you too. 1 month of trial using would be same as 1 lifetime purchase.
 
Which is better for this bot. Having the bot control movement or the CR?

And thanks Millz i love your products (long time user of demonic premium) its great to have a alternative to bgbuddy i have been waiting a while for somthing not so bot like for pvp and you delivered.

In most circumstances, BGFarmer's movement will be better for BGs than CR's will. Personally I use BGFarmer's movement.

Still getting the unknown entity bug with the SoTA blue gate.

Thanks, I'll add some debugging to find out what these Unknown entries are. Your log has flagged another issue which may be causing this though, so I'll have a look into this later.

Hey - Yeah aware of this issue, may have found the cause, but shall look into it.

Hey - It used to ignore all of these units, but it caused issues with the BG logic - as it wouldn't continue until you got out of combat - however those NPCs just kept beating on you, so it looked even more obvious when the toon wasn't fighting back and just idled until the game ended. Tower bowmen should be killed so I don't see that as an issue. The wandering NPCs and wolves aren't ideal, but there aren't that many of them around.

Hey - You can trial it via the buddy store for a day. When you login to the store the option to trial it (free) appears.

Pushed a fix for SotA gates. It wasn't registering which side we were on correctly (i.e. attacking or defending), so set the gates to the wrong value. Once it's approved hopefully this issue should be resolved.

*Edit* That was fast. It's approved.

First, let me state that this is a fantastic product, and I'm extremely glad of my purchase. Please continue the great effort and I will continue to suggest your product to others.

AV is the best honor-per-hour BG. Its also a very common BG to get into, so I've been running it a great deal. As such, I've found a few items I wanted to note to see if there way any way to streamline the logic.

Tower Defense
I have my bot set to defend instead of attack. I have selected defense, but the bot does nto defend the towers. Instead it does not attack Stonehearth or Icewing and instead just sits outside and rushes the main base later.

Bunker Climbing
I don't know if this is something you can address, but when fighting in a bunker, the bot keeps slipping off the stairs and running back up the stairs just to slip off again. I am botting using a rogue and not a ranged class, which makes this more of an issue.
Is there anything that can be done to prevent this behavior. It looks very bottish.

Does not Attack
I am using the Vitalic Elite Rogue PvP Profile with your botbase (A fantastic PVP routine) and have found that sometimes the bot will run up and stand in front of an opponent and not actually attack. In order to correct this I have to restart the bot.

Zerging to Last Boss
Once someone has engaged the final boss, I saw the bot continue to attack the final boss, even when noone else was in the bunker. This cased the bot to die multiple times. Can this be addressed at all? Is there a way to verify others are attacking as well?

Delay before Movement
Right after ressing the bot will spend a few seconds to delay before moving. The idea is to give a more human appearance, or maybe the bot is figuring out what to do.

While this is happening, could the bot take a few steps and open a map? This would greatly improve the 'human-eque' appearance. I've been kicked for being AFK a few times because of this behavior.


Again, this is a fantastic program you wrote. These are just things I noticed and wanted to report bug errors.
 
Bunker Climbing
I don't know if this is something you can address, but when fighting in a bunker, the bot keeps slipping off the stairs and running back up the stairs just to slip off again.
Under movement try disabling the move behind switch and under behavior there's one for strafe you can disable also. I run the same setup you do and that helped me a bit.
 
Hey Millz I bought your bgfarmer awhile back before the buddystore and I was wondering how would I get it put on my buddystore account so I can access it.
 
Is it possible to make the base play a bit more aggressive?
Just had a game in Battle for Gilneas where my player decided to defend Lighthouse for a couple of mins and then decided that Mines was empty and mounted and ran there but stopped half-ways and then decided to defend Lighthouse again (which was empty) and kept looping and then decided that the current target landmark appears to be a bad choice and got stuck in the water running around trying to decide, I stopped it and moved it into a fight and started it again.

It'll always defend a base if there's nobody there. If someone else comes along to defend then your toon will move on - if they leave that base so that it's once again undefended, your character will go back. If your team are playing defensive, your toon will go aggressive. You don't win games by leaving bases un-defended :)

Getting stuck because all bases are bad -> I'll need the log file for this one.

Quick update on this. I'm putting a code change into BGFarmer, but there also appears to be a bug with Honorbuddy that can cause issues. I've reported the fault.

Without a log he cannot help you, also if you paid and it is not showing up make sure you are using the correct buddyauth/key, make sure it is enabled and if you still have an issue you need to contact support as community devs do not handle payment or refund issues for the products.
