[PAID] BGFarmer - An Advanced Battleground Bot Base

What is causing the bot to click rapidly in two opposite directions making the toon walk back and forth on the spot?

Sounds like you might have your CR and BGFarmer both trying to control your movement. You should read the setup instructions for movement within the BGFarmer Bot settings. When both are on it causes your character to shudder.
 
Exist a setting for make the bot dont go directly behind enemy line to attack after ress in the midle graveyard in ashran?
And how i keep my hunter to dont go in middle of enemy group for pursuit a target instead stay in ranged zone?

Hey, great product you've got here. I'm new to this BotBase and am wondering if there is a setting I'm missing in Ashran to not have the bot run off and suicide into the enemy group? A leashing mechanism of sorts that would recall the bot to it's group members when it's being lured into the enemy "pack" so to speak? I've been watching my melee shaman constantly chase an enemy into a huge group of the enemy faction and die needlessly. In fact that's all the bot does most of the time it seems in Ashran. I think it's great that it navigates to the group members, but then it dies almost instantly as it runs right into the center of the enemy group chasing an enemy.

Yeah it doesn't have a 'leashing' mechanism. The hard part with this is detecting at what point we've considered to have strayed too far from our pack, when to move back, and when it's worth moving back because a CR would move us straight back towards the enemy. It could result in lots of running back and forth which would look incredibly bot like. Suiciding isn't great, but other players won't notice you doing it as much as running back and forth in and out of a pack of players.

Do you know where in the log file it happened? File is pretty big, hard to pull out issues like that. As jamparke said, it can be when BGFarmer and the CR both attempt to control movement.

It'll just be taking the quickest path to catch up to the group. That's dynamic and can't be altered.

Staying in ranged zone -> I need to add a 'recall' feature to make the toon move back into the pack if we start to stray. It's not an easy thing to identify with code though (i.e. under what conditions we'd move back).

Seems something is making honorbuddy crash like 50% of the time in strand of the ancients..

issue with AV

Bot goes from Snowfall graveyard to frostwolf keep over and over. no allies at keep. dies to npcs. when it made it all by it self to the keep it engaged and died an inglorious death

How come this isn't listed in my honorbuddy? I bought this a long time ago it was showing up earlier today now when I login to the honorbuddy it's not showing anymore it disappeared.

It *tries* not to 'leeroy' into fights, avoid packs of enemies where we wouldn't win etc, but it does happen - hard to avoid. It handles it better in BGs than Ashran. Try the trial via the store and see how you get on.

Interesting one that. It shouldn't engage Drek'thar unless Drek is at < 90% HP. Seems that the CR has activated because the bowman got into combat, so multi-dotting occurred. I'll need to make it stay outside the building until Drek is at <90% HP i think, but at the same time it should have gone to take the towers / kill the bowman before it went anywhere near Drek.

Anyway, I'll stick it on my to-do list to look into because it's not handling that as cleanly as it should be.

Any chance mercenary mode will be added in to be used?

Yeah I want to get this added in, no ETA, but it's something I'm wanting to do.

I believe I've got Mercenary Mode working, but there's some significant changes been made to the core code of BGFarmer to get this to work. Will take a fair bit of testing to ensure it's working correctly.

Any volunteers to help test - send me your skype ID and buddyauth username in a PM.

Please fix this for ashran.

- Bot still pulls glads in front of the bases so the raid gets screwed. They despawn, just black list them as a target.
- If there is an event in progress the #1 priority should be to get to that Event. Too many times thr bot missed the entire event because its fighting random NPCs in the middle of nowhere or on the way to the event. It should completely ignore NPCs if thats not the active event. I've now missed 3 event wins in a row because it stops at every NPC.
- When the enemy leader is dead, leave the fight. Every single time the bot stays and dies, which can again effect getting to the next event.
- There is just too much NPC attacking overall. You dont need to constantly fight every NPC at each flag location over and over. Firstly it looks very bottish and secondly it just wastes time.

- Pull glads -> Need a log for this. Shouldn't be actively going out of it's way to engage with them.
- It won't just run to any active event, in case your team doesn't go for it. No point soloing. It'll stay with the group - then when close to the event area it'll trigger the event's logic. Which NPCs is it getting stuck at? It'll only fight NPCs if the toon is dismounted. When mounted it should continue on with what it was doing.
- Once in combat it'll continue fighting until it's out of combat. There isn't really an easy way around that. Control is passed to the CR when in combat.

New update pushed and awaiting approval..

- BGFarmer can now determine if player is actually horde/alliance, or as mercenary mode (where faction is reversed).
- Added option to allow signing up for Mercenary Mode.
- [Ashran] Removed jail stuff. Incorrectly identified us as being in jail sometimes when we weren't.
- [AV] Fixed some issues with not identifying tower banner objects correctly.
- [AV] Improved the logic around whether or not a tower needs capturing. Should no longer charge to end boss when Dun Baldar / Frostwolf towers still haven't been capped. Should resolve yolo'ing into end boss.
- [AV] Horde -> Should no longer get into a loop falling out of tower and running back up while waiting for a tower to be destroyed.
- [AV] Fixed pulling Galv/Bal.
- [AV] Blacklisted Iceblood & Stonehearth graveyards. Best off leaving these to players.
- Chat logging for our own toon will now say 'Me' instead of just replacing the first 2 characters with *.
- Fixed spam using food/drink items when already eating.
- Leaving battleground once completed will now simulate clicking the 'Leave Battlefield' button. Should help resolve rare issue of being unable to quit BG once completed.
 
I just dinged 100, and went straight into BG's using BG farmer millz....

Mercenary mode is on, and I am new to this part of the game, but my bot will not do anything but run around in mercenary mode.

He will not attack anybody or mount up. Just run around.

I also noticed it was going around and pick pocketing people - How do I disable that? -- I don't want my character doing anything weird in a BG, lol.
