we are already in the process of updating our battleground logic, however this process takes time as we can only do and test one battleground at a time.
So where exactly would we go to determine which BGs are finished (and hopefully safe to use) and which are not (DEFINITELY put AV on this list)? Looking at the Release thread for the latest version, it mentions "changes" being made to AB and Twin Peaks, but there is nothing to indicate that the other BGs aren't really safe to use.
I've been watching the bot run through AV (since it's Call to Arms weekend) and it's just sad:
Bot continually getting stuck on the pumpkins (and for whatever reason, it's NOT generating blackspots when this happens)
Bot trying to attack targets through walls
Bot just standing in one of the boss rooms - doing nothing - while the fighting is going on
Groups of bots (as the OP mentioned) all stacked up in spots
And as has been the case with most things during this whole painful XPac upgrade process - very little in the way of communication from the devs on what's going on.
Does BGBuddy work? Well yeah - basically - sort of. Is it really buggy and potentially dangerous to use right now? Well - I wouldn't run it unattended ATM.
G - I understand this is a complicated process and I'm sure the team is all working hard - but the communications part of this process has been really poor for the most part (yes, there have been a few exceptions - Apoc for example has been a little more forthcoming with information - which is GREATLY appreciated). Now with all the other problems, you throw in the whole issue with the failing auth servers and mesh downloads - something that should have (and could have if handled properly) been anticipated and dealt with before it became an issue. You keep telling people to be patient and understanding - well that's a 2-way street. I just hope you can understand why a lot of people on this side are really frustrated atm.
You'll have to excuse me now - my BGBuddy session just croaked - again - another authentication failure - \facepalm
