BGBuddy is literally YEARS overdue for fixes

You know what I hate? This stupid smartphone. The text option is kind of broken, should I get an iPhone instead ?

No, just call the manufacturer and demand that they remake it into an iPhone at no additional cost.

I to like millz bg farmer, but do agree that bgbuddy could use some work. but in regards to evilme73 STOP runnung av and isle. you can set up two bgs to not que for. Why que for them knowing there is an issue. if you stick to smaller bg sizes you might not be pathing with 10 other bots. And as for your sugestion, to release the bgbuddy code, are you thinking about what you asked? if blizzard can get the code tracking bots would be no real issue what so ever, even if the comunity "improves" it. keeping the code to them selves provides you a bit more protection. i will reiderate yeah bgbuddy has issues but i would much rather have the protected items list totally updated rather than fix av and ioc pathing issues.

The Devs are doing a great job with getting us wod content pretty quickly. And i for one thank you for what you have already acomplished.
You all should praise the devs not comdem them. I too wouldnt be so quick to go back and update the old bgs, especially crappy ones like AV or IOC.

So, you think they should still be selling Blackberry phones here when the competition is selling Androids and IPhones? BTW, there is some competition and they seem to be growing. Now, "Who Moved My Cheese"?

Really? Is it? So we have a product that is called "honorbuddy" which not only advertises as an honor farmer but based solely on the name you would assume that it has rudimentary capabilities, and your answer is, pay for bc farmer. Makes complete sense now that I write it out. And once again ibwill let it be known, Ivan happy buyer of many profiles for Millz, Tuanha and others. I don't think you guys get the point that the OP of others are attempting to make.

The easy solution is to simply get rid of BGBuddy. If the HB devs do not want to fix it (for whatever reason) they should at least know that it is a huge problem and stop offering it to new subscribers. If the safety of your WoW account was truly the priority, then I believe they would stop offering BGBuddy or at least post a huge warning to anyone that attempts to use BGBuddy.

well i dont use it at all.. i pretty much thinks it fucks up the game ALOT. enyo with tuanha spesial classes is awesome as hell. can take down any glad any time..

If they want to stop support for bgbuddy, I'd be totally in favor of that choice... as long as they release the source code for it, so the community can run with it.
 
They would have to change the name of the bot then :p

But I agree with the OP. BGFarmer is an amazing bot, but you shoudlnt have to pay $30 more just to feel somewhat safe while you farm honor. Does it work? Technically yes, but it's probably one of the most detectable & bannable bots in the HB suite.

Plus the current BGBuddy hurts HB more than it helps. Newcomers who my be interested in botting for honor will either see youtube vids making fun of BGBuddy or see first hand how terribly obvious the bot is and be turned off by the product and assume the rest of the bot is just as bad.

Unforuntately I don't see BGBuddy getting updated. Bossland probably makes a lot of money off BGFarmer
 
Perhaps we should just quit complaining and be happy that a bunch of newbs wind up on the ban-wagon with this bot base. Perhaps that means less competition for the rest of us?
