BGBuddy is literally YEARS overdue for fixes

I forgot though, HB is a buisness. Theyre not going to focus on other minor things until theyre happy with the program and theres nothing else to do. Two or three years now for BGBuddy? Going to probably have to wait two or three more years easy. End result? Dont hold your breath.
 
Well I have to agree, years later BGBuddy still runs around battlegrounds screaming "IM A BOT, BAN ME PLEASE". I have no clue how I managed to farm 200k Honorable Kills without a single suspension.
 
Tho his words are harsh its 100% true BG Buddy is really bad. And needs to be updated its been way to long and they been slacking for far to long on BG Buddy

and yes we should not have to pay for another botbase when the one we already paid for is not working. This is the main reason for bans and why I dont use honor buddy anymore.

Sick of seeing bot trains in BGS too

Either Fix it or disable it.

One time at night I took a screenshot, but I lost it somehow. It was an EotS BG where 13 bots, including mine went for the same base and just stood there on the same spot mounted and not moving, not even a flinch. It was so obvious I laughed out loud in the middle of the night.

This isn't even my major complaint. I understand the critical mass issue, and why it IS a really hard thing to fix. I understand something like that will take a long time.

What I don't understand. Is why rebot (a bot htat has been out a month, and hooks the same way HB does)... can walk through IOC gates when they open, but HB can't. Or why hb is happy to walk back and forth on the two exact same points for a whole minute+ before changing what it wants to do. Why not just auto blackspot your current location for 10s every few seconds when not defending, so you can be sure it'll keep moving when out of combat.

It's like the george castanza thing... as long as you look busy you'll be fine :P
 
HB has changed.

Nowadays a bare subscription of HB is not enough.

To have a decent botting experience you have to spend shitload of $$$ in the buddystore. All the good plugins/routines/botbases cost a lot of money and without them i wouldn't even bother to bot.

Maybe it's the new HB business model.

Singular stability for questing is unquestionable, it's been updated for years with good developers contributing and normal users posting about bugs.

People who buy from the buddystore are the same people who buy things from a normal retail store, it's because they won't make the product themselves or can't be bothered to learn so they pay for the privilege.

You have no idea how shit Singular really is until you try the expensive routines from the buddystore.
 
HB is a basic bot base, they give you the tools to "bot" - if your not happy and want better then go buy premium.

Just the same as a mobile contract, tv contract, car

The list go's on.

Tried out a few CCs and haven't found one yet that out dps singular with dungeonbuddy.

I have the paid version for hunter and singular does more dps and doesn't lag as hard.

Perhaps because it is still in beta.

Tuanha was so much better with bgbuddy though. No regrets in buying it only for that alone.

BgFarmer is really good, but it costs 30 EUR

Pretty much any good plugin/CR/bot base costs money. A decent HB setup costs about 200 EUR. But it reduces your chances of getting banned by a lot.

Sure sold routings/botbases and stuff wont be overused, better coded and stuff - no doubt. But its funny you're saying reduces changed getting banned by a lot. I mean, where did u get that info from? long term study? I just find it funny ppl talking abt things they dont even know. Yes you can guess it might decrease the chance being banned but you can guess thats all.

Its important to distinguish between desirable and decent. You desire a HB setup that costs €200. It will look very nice and behave in a way that you like so its well worth your money. However, if you don't want to spend €200, HB with Singular and BGBuddy will farm you full epic sets for all specs of all classes. That's decent.
