BGBot BOTTERS obvious!!

Hello every1.

So here my thought/problem! I have seen several time when playing in a bg like AV or IoC, that when there is many botters playing on same profile, all of "us" runs exatly same ways and stops on exactly same spot for exakt amount of time and then runs off in same directions. So i was thinking isnt it pretty obvious to see that "we" are botters? LoL a crazy thought but it is very easily seen if u whatch it.

Anyhow gimme ure idea and what u think of this, i know there isnt much the awesome devs can do about it but still, tell me if u have seen it too!

Now stop bringing attention to it.
 
Edit the profiles and change the hotspots. That's what I did and no one runs my paths.

Hey man, nice idea there really! Could u maybe send a copy of ure profile and ill have it too pls! If ure US im EU, Im in Misery bg, so we wont be togheter and run same paths INCASE we in same bg xD.

No. like I said, edit your own, it's not hard.

Open AV.xml I believe and it will tell you how to edit them...

Problem is that this is a real big issue, yes i run with modified profiles but the 6-7 bgbot users that runs the exact same path is starting to bring alot of attention to HB.
This morning alot of ppl in AV have started to comment on the issue and mass reporting. When it is this obvious that so many bot with the same program and the average playerbase discuss it open in BG chat Blizzard will have to act in one way or another....

That is true really, maybe a real DEV hero could make a little guide on how to edit ure own Paths in bgs, this way we rly may save alot of banning, dont u think so Kickazz006?

Yes, share please. I've tried to edit my own and things DO NOT work out as planned.
 
Hey, is there software that makes you record your own hotspots? or do you have to manually get the XYZ co ordinates?
 
No need for a new thread on this it has been asked about several times and each time the safe info comes forward.
As I'm not running BG Bot in its current state for the foreseeable future I may release my edited profiles for public use but I think if too many people use them you will suffer the same problem anyway.
 
For those that want to 'learn to edit the BG profiles', open the Alterac Valley.xml. It shows you what you need to know in there.
 
I know how to tweak the Alterac Valley XML file but how do you get the XYZ co ordinates in game? I want to record my own path to Drek'thar

Click on 'Developer tools' button, double click on '0,0,0' line. Look at HB log window - there is your XYZ coordinates.
 
How do I get it so that it runs straight to the enemy base, and capture the enemy graveyard? Do I just make the hostpots tiny?

can someone pls just make me a new AV profile?
 
I saw a plugin on here somewhere for recording your path and making a profile. Try that out.
