BG bot beta Hot Spots

I want to change hot spots but I need help. Is there anything that will tell the the exact x, y, z, tlx, tly, brx, and bry any where in the bg?

Leave any suggestion you like to help me.

Hotspot x="-619.5482" y="-400.3674" z="59.3562775" tlx="-551" tly="-289" brx="-685" bry="-464" name="Ice Blood Graveyard" /
Hotspot XYZ=Where your toon will stand.
tlx = Top-Left X
tly = Top-Left Y
brx = Bottom-Right X
bry = Bottom-Right Y
These are the top left coordinates of a 2 dimensional box that goes around your hotspot.
This is used because HB looks inside this box for friendly/enemy players to decide on where to go/stay at.

So it would be like this:


TL will be the tlx & tly, no Z is needed
H is the Hotspot where you will stand
BR will be the brx & bry, no Z is needed

This allows you to shape your {Check For Players} box for where people actually stand,
And of course size around where you want to stand/where ppl camp objectives at.

that is one smart panda, I can't even use his answer its way over my head, if I could delete one hotspot..its the one in WG where it runs from the rez spot (horde and maybe ally too) to a sandy colored wall and waits for god knows what looking extra bottish till HB decides it needs to move to another spot sometimes a minute or so.

It must be quite hard to make your own hotspots for BGbot(beta) then. Would be good if there was a plug in that let you record the tlx, tly, brx and bry

But the running while rezzed is an issue within the HB Core.
That has to do with BG Bot itself, not the profile.
There is no hotspot that it tries to run to while dead (or shouldn't be, but it obviously is, which makes it a BG Bot bug (BBB?))

Hope that makes sense.

Bg bot doesn't care what is between the "Boxes".
It only cares what is inside these "Boxes".



Any questions about it being a Horde/Alliance spot please open "/Honorbuddy/Default Profiles/AlteracValley.xml

For this just grab a hotspot at the top-left and bottom-right and insert the respective X & Y and leave out the Z.
It's actually very simple, just takes a couple double-click in the Developer Tools window... (Dubble-Click the { 0 , 0 , 0 } next to "My Position" and it will output a <Hotspot/> tag into the Honorbuddy Log Window.

If that is the only hotspot in there yes.
You can set it to default and it would be where it should go right away, but it may leave if it finds a "Better" spot to be at.


Top-right and bottom-left are not needed since we have the top-left corner, and bottom-right corner...
