First, loud and clear I was NOT banned today, however. I suggest everyone running their bot every now and again hit enter and tab through your chat recipients. I went to chat to a friend to day that happened to msg me while i was watching the bot. Hit tab and had an option to whisper blizzard01. Stopped and scrolled up as far as I could but I could only see the last few words of the message "or we will suspend your account". I have 1/1 bot that goes about 8 or so hours per day. I was running cigarcc act2 eldeberries profile when warned. B

How did I get scammed? and I entered no information anywhere. Total Bullshit, bot away? I was gonna not even log on for like a week

keep botting.... Ive gotten that too. If you look closely it's some website other than blizzards. It mimics what blizzards looks like. And if you go on there and enter your info and stuff, it asks for your secret question, etc etc. So it's an account stealer

They have screen shots of what it looks like online. I can't remember what I searched for when I googled the website address

That's called a scammer.... the rest of the message that you couldn't see was saying to go to a website and verify your account information or they will "suspend your account."

I've recieved several tells from this blizz01 guy, for 1, blizzard would never use an account named blizzard01, they always have much more clever account names.

One day My friend tabbed and had an option to whisper BarackObama , then he stopped and scrolled up as far as he could, however he saw the few words of the message "or you'll go to prison ! He had 1 bot/1 and large friendlist! He was so scarried cause he was from Iran(as I remember) , and deleted bot and diablo3 from his computer .:(

Most importantly, is there a Blizzard logo at the beginning of the name? If not, well...

One of the oldest scams in the book. Not sure how he messaged you though, I assume you were in a public chat channel?

Blizz doesnt have an ingame support for D3. It's not like WoW. I get this whispers since release, so dont care about it :)

I have to say this scam has been running in Asia for at least 10 years. The number of people fell for this is getting less and less. Finally they decided to move this scam to US and Europe.

if its blizzard and they contact you in game and dont get a response, they will e-mail you or leave a message in your battle.net acount, since you didnt get ether and your not banned, it the evidance says it was most definately a scammer.
