Nesox can we at least get an update on your work on fixing the inactivity issue. Would be nice to know that you are working on it and that you guys dont consider it a non issue. It is an issue with DB itself as people without Radsatom are having the issue as well.

I haven't been able to reproduce it, ran fine all night and the night before when i was asleep.
But i don't run any plugins, might give it a try with trinity tho see if it happens.
Has anyone experienced the "inactivity timer" bug that isn't running any plugins at all?

Seems strange that it would reside within trinity as trinity hasnt changed since before this became an issue, but maybe one of the changes in db caused the issue in trinity. Thanks for getting back so fast Nesox. Thanks also if you test with Trinity. This has been an issue for a while now for a lot of people and would be nice to know where to place the problem at. It has gone back and forth between being an issue with db and radsatom for awhile and I know people were placing it at db because they would turn radsatom off and still have the issue. Not sure if anyone has tested with turning off trinity yet. Im so dependent on Trinity, that would suck :p

I'll try to create a way for you to reproduce it, hold on, while I do a fresh install with no plugins.
 
using 70 build right now with radsatom, unstuckme, giles and all is fine.
 
Load in a blank combat profile and start db, wait untill the inactivity timer triggers. And see what happens.
Just tested this and diablo crashed.

well either you need to monitor and watch for when it happens or find yourself stuck in menu. If you use unstuckme or giles unstucker, maybe turn those off and allow yourself to get stuck and see what happens.

i use unctuckme, and giles unctucker is off, and no stucks, so for what i should do this if everything is fine? :D

so to do a faster test, turn off unstucker and monitor the bot. When it gets stuck, instead of unstucker kicking in, it should go inactive and the inactivity timer should kick it and restart the game. If it actually goes to menu reloads your profile and starts a new game, that is good. If it goes to menu and sits there doing nothing, then it is still an issue.

This is only if you wanna put in the time to test.

i use Inactivity time: 2 in demonbuddy, not in RadsAtom, so i think it works good.



also i don't test it(w/o plugins) on stable 282 build, it's not working on 282 or what?

  • Added attribute "ignoreGridReset" to the ExploreArea tag if set to true it will ignore resetting the segmentation grid when the tag starts and finish, can be usefull if you use 2 explore area tags in a row to avoid re-exploring already explored areas.

Been observing a bug-ish thing for the past few days, not sure if this is a bug or a feature request - both tested and found using Belphegor (not Trinity):


  • Logic to open doors and use shrines ignores Profile blacklists - not sure if this is handled within Belphegor or somewhere in the default bot logic.
  • Door blacklisting time of 2 seconds doesn't seem to be long enough - doesn't give the bot enough time to run away and continue the profile. Can we adjust this or set it to 5/15?

This is a request:


  • Automatic Target blacklisting - when trying to reach a target but either never makes it or does no damage to it. If we can't move to attack, pick it up, or use the target, we should blacklist it for 5/15/30 seconds. Examples are doors, shrines, gold, items, "units" (like wall of flames, Act 1 Halls of Agony, and floor spikes Act 4 Silver Spire Level 1)

For the automatic target blacklisting, the bot will often "Flip Flop" when the loot radius is set very high (150+) and (for example) there's a gold pile to the left, but the profile says to run to the right.
 
It's still not destroying barricades in cath and watch tower occasionally also has trouble with some doors. I'll post a log later tonight after it encounters the problem more.

Just to reassure you it's a serious problem, I am having this problem every few hours too. Every time inactivity timer triggers, there is a high chance DB won't recreate the game and just sit in the menus forever.

Using just Trinity.
 
Hi there fellow demon buddy users,

I dont know if im just retarded but my demon buddy beta is not seeing my plugins.
This worked fine when i was running DB on win 7...
If im just a retard im sorry if anyone knows how to help...please do.
