[BETA] ArchaeologyBuddy - An Archaeology Bot (with flying)

Maybe im doing something wrong here but when I leave this running it doesn't do anything except get stuck in the nearest ledge or tree, fresh install and using a blank profile

Keep in mind that this is just a BETA. I tend to get stuck aswell, so I only let it run when nearby..

Is that a default or custom .cc ? I just extract a new version of HB and stick the archeology bot in that, leave everything else vanilla, if you have a lvl85 character doing Archy and just in Kalimdor, you aren't going to get in too much trouble.

Hey everyone,

I have a real quick question. I'm currently using the archaeology buddy plugin and I notice that alot of the time it skips digsites. I figured this might have something to do with the archer.xml file so I checked it but all of the digsites it ignores are listed in there.What would be the cause for it skipping over the digsites still and what can I do to remedy the problem?

As all the decent items are account bound I'd prefer to do archeology on my mages to save time moving around. Is there any possiblity to include the use of mage portals to move between continents?

Paid Plugin Key's are not active yet so leave the space empty, i see thread's like this all the time so i will link you to the Wiki were it will have all your answers.

Question on usage:

If the Bot breaks for whatever reason, what do you do to get it back to work?

I wanted to make a short list and would appreciate any comments.

- Bot stuck in tree
Focus game window, press space, move it over the tree

- Bot trying to survey in water
Stop bot, clear out the digsite manually, move the bot about 1000yrds outbound of the cleared digsite, start bot again

- Bot stuck inside of a tree
Close HB, move bot so save location, open HB, resume operations. This sometimes results in the bot not flying or moving at all.

Anyone else got things to mention?
Maybe I'll start a Wiki page or something.

@people that are pissed because they don't have lifetime...it is a bit offtopic at this point but i just wanted to say that.

I know that YOU don’t know how much time and headaches you have to spend during software development until you have something like this. This time spent is much more in worth then just 80€. As a customer you are not interested in how much time the devs have to spend to fix issues or develop new functions. As the bot becomes bigger and bigger and the possibility of getting bugs and errors will also be larger and larger...they have to spend more time and we support them by paying more for it. As development takes longer and extra stuff is added..you have to pay for extra stuff. Just get this damn lifetime version…they even offer you to upgrade..and even then people are complaining. 80€ that’s just nothing! Really, take a few minutes, think about and realize how much time you save just because of this bot. That is worth the 80€ like a thousand times…you don’t have to do those level 1-XX quests for the 73985745 time…you always have gold for buying the best items while others can’t or have to farm hours over hours… if you think that this is not worth 80€ or 55€ for an upgrade..sorry but then you should not be here…or just play a while without using any bot…i’m sure after a short period of time you realize what benefits you have from being able to use a bot instead of having to do everything yourself. It is not a kept secret that paid plugins will come..and if you remember the time you bought the bot, every function that was offered is still usable but if you want more and all that extra stufs you have to pay more. Even we lifetime subscribers have to pay for some new functions but hey it is ok...as we get a lot more back then we are paying for. You want to be lazy having a bot doing everything for you so you can just enjoy the nice parts of world of warcraft – well then pay for it.

And something else...a lot of poeple her, and i think that makes this community such amazing is that they just do not belong to the HB teams and still spend their free time providing us with cc's, profiles and aweomse plugins like this.
(I hope it is okay if i write that here...) Pirox also redesigns their prizes for archeology bot, so you have to pay more while we have a community that grows through their members itself with members like Raphus that develop stuff like that for free! It is awesome and i am thankful for that!

Just a small note; Raphus and (most) CC devs in here gets paid for doing what they do.
