[BETA] ArchaeologyBuddy - An Archaeology Bot (with flying)

I have alot of issues when it lands on mountains and edges of cliffs etc. That's a real issue and causes it to just sit there forever, im assuming because it cant find a path?
 
After doing some testing I figured that my DBM somehow manages to block AB, and only by turning DBM off, AB will work. Don't ask me why :-)
 
In strangleton and in duskwood the bot needs to fly higher to avoid trees and not get stucked

or try to recreate the anti stuck system of Gatherbuddy (move 3y back, 3y right eg)

To correct all mistakes, it is a plugin but used at the Botbase index. Tadaa.. no stop flaming eachother, its just that you need to place the botbase in Honorbuddy>Bots>ArcheaologyBuddy folder to work, and not in the plugin folder.

also keep in mind that currently the bot is only supported in Kalimdor.
 
Some one asked earlier whats the highest level folks have gotten,

Done 2 toons to 525 however i i had to baby sit the entire 2 days because certain areas just dont like being dug in.

Just a little advice for everyone who is leveling this.

1. Start in Eastern Kingdom, stay there till you get to 525 no exception. This is because once you hit end level you will want to spend most of your time in Kalimdor farming tol'vir artifacts which leads to stuff all Dwarven ones.

2. Level to 50 then learn the next stage of archaeology. Once you have learnt it then farm till your hearts content without the need to go get anymore training. I farmed around 1300 artifacts in dwarven and troll and then 500ish in fossils, before i bothered leveling it.

3. Once you decide to go back to Kalmidor make sure you keep an eye on the tol'vir creations, there is an urn that can be looted after your solve it (which has vial of the sands in it)
 
So, I tried running this unattended for about 1 hour. I ran it in eastern kingdoms and it decided to fly over the water east of burning steppes and died of fatigue. When I came back to the computer I had 20% durability and no ability at all to reach my corpse.

Is it possible to tell the bot that it cannot fly that way or is it a HB issue?

it stops moving at twilight grove and it always gets stuck at blackrock mountain
 
OMG OMG this is so awesomee!!!!! been running in eastern kingdoms for a while - flying works great and surveys like a real person. I only had one problem in STV at the naga shrine - my character kept surveying in the one spot - he was swimming and probably too far from the telescope thingymabob :)

EDIT: I should learn to spell "survey"

My review:

Alliance - Flymount - Fresh install of HB & Archaelogybuddy:

- Stucks on Blackrock Spire
- Stucks in Trees (Mainly duskwood/stranglethorn)
- Dies in Dun Modr, because it falls down.
- Stucks when flying to the Hinterlands, in the mountain.
 
It freezes upon entering the Twilight Grove dig site.

It also gets stuck on Blackrock Mountain every time. It needs to just keep going up.

Hi, can this be that the bot does not know all the points. He stays with me many times in the air when it comes to a specific excavation. Example (Hyjal, Tanaris, Desolace)
do you habt the same problems

What should i do?

Starting the bot!
Pull Max Distance set to 5
Pull Min Distance set to 3
This profile does not contain any profiles fitting the character!
ThreadAbortException caught inside.
ThreadAbortException caught outside.
 
Just load a profile which has a lvl req which matches 86 or an empty one.
