You can use whichever you like. Hazzinviter takes a long time to search through all the members, and you'll always get the /who window popping up which interrupts anything open (bank, gbank, AH etc). PimpMyGuild uses efficient searching from the SGI addon to find loads of members, and it won't interrupt your play. I only made it because Hazzinviter was pissing me off with the /who window and it took ages to search. In the end they both do the same thing though...recruit.

thanks for the addon, I started using your plugin 3 days ago and im up to 30 members on one server and 50 on another. Either I am doing something wrong or its gonna take a long damn time to get to 1k

Invested a looot of gold and fun into these and blizz lets someone take it over just to kick everyone or loot anything of value from the gb. :( Worst move they ever made for me personally. But my favourite server survived it. :)

Yes, if the guild leader isn't on for 30 days, the highest rank in the guild can take over.

This has been changed. You now have to be off for 90 days, and only an "officer" type rank that requires an authenticator ( other then the GM's rank ) can do it now.

We had a situation last week where our GM had been offline for 14 days, and guild became claim-able
 
they can not ban for that. i use wintrade at 2k till 2,2k to boost char and win some gold. before i start it, i talked with GM and asked it to him. the only way you get ban with that is: if someone pay to you for 2.2k and u cant reach it and you dont give the money back. i have a screenshot to be safe.

That's been in since firelands. This means your GM's character was offline for 90 days or you're lying.

When is a guild leader considered to be inactive?
A guild leader is considered inactive when the guild master character has been offline for at least 90 consecutive days. Once 90 days of inactivity have elapsed, a notification will appear in the Guild News & Events feed for guild members who are eligible to become the new guild leader.

Note: The 90-day timer only considers the login activity of the guild leader character, not the account that the character is on. Logging into other characters on the same account will not reset the timer.

How do I request leadership?
Any eligible guild member will be able to request leadership by clicking on the Guild News & Events notification. Lower rank characters will lose the ability to claim guild leadership if a higher rank character logs into the game. For instance, characters in the third rank will lose the ability to claim leadership when a character in the second rank logs in. If no Guild News & Events notification is present, your character may not have a high enough rank in the guild, or the leader is not yet considered inactive.

Note: It may be possible for characters lower than the third rank down from Guild Master to see the notification. If these characters try to claim guild leadership, they will receive an error message and no dethroning will occur.

Do not count on that.
People have been banned for wintrade in the past, its against the ToS, and thats enough. And another point, it have been discussed on the buddy forums in the past - its not tolerated to explain/reveal exploits here, and the wintrade is into these brackets too, indeed.
 
With the exp being normalized, the best way to level is for sure to quest. Invite all low levels etc, have them get the guild 60000 guild exp per quest they turn in. Hand leveld (Firs one in forever) a warrior yesterday, got from 1-13 before I got bored, earned me about 4.000.000 guild exp! Without cap this would be no po problem to get at least a level a day!

EDIT; I did 60 quests, got me from level 1 to 13, thats 3.900.000 exp, in about 2 hours. On one of my chars that I leveld with Kicks 1-85 it had about 1500 quests completed, thats 90.000.000 exp from 1 character!

So yea, planning on recruiting a couple of 100s to level it for me :cool:

If you hand in Relic of Ulduar x 10 at the Sons of Hodir in Storm Peaks, you gain 350 guild rep per turn in and 60,000 Guild experience.

It takes a truck load to level though, but they are incredibly cheap and will help you out if you level your guild reputation as well.

PS: You can grind them as well.
 
Since 5.0.4 the changes to GuildXP have made dailies even more interesting....
EVERY quest you do (independant of level) will give you 60k GuildXP. That means that a full run of my Dailies profile will nett you about 1 Million guildXP. Do that on multiple toons and you'll be leveling like mad.....

MY only fear atm ... if the blizz reverts it or something and the bot isnt released -.-
 
Is this 60k guild exp thing already in, or will it be in when MoP comes out in September? I don't know if you guys are saying you're doing it on live realms, or in beta. If it's live, and it works right now on the 5.0.4 patch, then I can probably get my level 19 guild some more exp, and I can also boost my rep. Now, as far as caps go, what are they? Guild rep cap? Still a guild exp cap? Oh, and are dailies still capped at 25? I read somewhere that Blizzard was removing the daily cap, or at least making it a lot higher due to the vast amount of dailies that can be done.
 
The daily cap is removed. You can do as many as you want. Whether it be from Cata, Wrath, BC ..... do em all :D

As for the turnin in question. Seems like it is working for some and not others. Not sure what that is about :( Wish I knew so I could give some people some answers.
 
I want to give a small tip!
* if you create a worgen and do all the quests in the beginning from approximately 1-6
it goes really fast, did this with some friends.
There are many quests you should just talk to people :)
