im trying to farm some bounties to attempt turn some legends into ancients but my question is since the issues on ACT 5, whats the fastest way to farm them ? individually until u have desired amount of mats or just go with bonus round ?

IMO, let the bot force the bonus bounties and then go back later and tell it choose specific acts for those you need to balance out, that way you're not wasting time only get half the mats on all those non-bonus bounties.

It's so much easier to get ancient gear from turning rares into legendaries, that I'm not even sure why Blizzard made it possible to reroll legendaries & possibly get an ancient. The price is way too high to use that formula in Kanai's Cube. Of course, rerolling rares turns the game into nothing but a giant death breath farming festival but that's what botting is for.

I agree that usually its easier to do so with the cube but it sucks when the build you are going for calls for two ancient items that only come from bounties. So you can't cube them :(

I guess I don't remember when that was a hold-up because I cubed everything early on in 2.3--even the 95% of stuff that will never ever get used, just because I could. Also I'm not using any builds that require bounty only ancients, & in my opinion Blizzard really ruined crafted gear when you had to start running bounties to make any of it. There's 2 things I wish they'd fix/revert in D3: one is lowering the cost of crafted gear so that it's remotely worth bothering with, and two is making ancient gear so that it ALWAYS rolls with better stats than any possible normal legendary. They sort of side-stepped that second problem when they made the new LoN rings because you need the ancient versions whether or not they have higher crit & damage values.

its just i got the worst luck when it comes to turn rare into legendaries specially ancients, guess i got to farm mats for like a week to have enough to may turn 1 or 2 legendaries

What is your current gear level?

Do you have all items in slot as needed, just no ancients?

Or are you mostly Ancient already, just hunting down perfect rolls?

If you're mostly Ancient and you're held up just on the Stash Bag items, use Law of Kulle at Cube. I am not a huge fan of this recipe because it's expensive early on in a Season. Once you've cubed your main items and are mostly Ancient Geared, it becomes viable in your situation: Need 1 or two item's that you can't seem to get a good roll on.

It costs 5 of each of the stash bag materials and 50 forgotten souls. That means you can do it twice for every time you clear all of the bounties in a T10 server (10 materials per act @ T10). But if you're clearing bounties anyways for stash bag items, this is an overall win. I even used this on my Traveler's Pledge and Compass rose as I was having trouble finding well rolled ones.

If there is only a slot or two that you need non-stash bag items for, make sure your Kadala is set to one of the items and your "Upgrade rares to Legendaries" is set to another.

For example, I was trying to get an ancient 1H weapon for my Crusader and I needed an Ancient Nemesis Bracer. I set the "Convert Rare" to 1H Weapons and left it on (Gambling weapons is a complete waste on weapons as they aren't targeted). Then set my Kadala gambling to bracers. In a day I had both.

Anywho, which items do you still need?

on my crusader i need the St. Hands, Pauldron should and the fricking belt which i gotten like 10 times just not ancient, and of course one of the rings

What i did for my LoN bombardment sader was:
First: get the items that are a must for the cube by converting yellows to legendary
Second: get ALL the needed items for the build, even if not ancient
Third: after you get all the needed items, focus on upgrading the yellows to legendary to get ancient upgrades until you run out of materials

After that just leave the bot farming the highest difficulty you can and create a good item list so it only saves the items you want to and it doesn't fill the stash with crap.

I figured out bounties doesn't do well in the current trinity - my bot didn't completed a whole bounty run in like 3 hours. (stands around, runs in a corner or into a corner all time, runs passed the map marker - in the opposite direction, doesn't open or claim/cleanse stuff)
