Best way of making gold

Hi.

I am curious about what way you guys think is the best to make gold nowadays?
Gathering herbs and ores were awesome in the past, but now that's just a waste of botting-time ;)
I read on another botforum about Tempest Keep farming, but I couldn't any profile for HB?


So, what's the best way of making gold according to you? :)
 
If it works well, make a profile yourself to test it is my suggestion
 
you say : "Gathering herbs and ores were awesome in the past, but now that's just a waste of botting-time"....are you sure? tony, kick, me and i think so a lot of member in this forum make a lot of money from ores and herb until this day. a lot of farming technique that spread on the internet...googled it and youtoub-ed it dude...
 
ive been trading d3 gold for wow gold latelty just traded 2 mil d3 gold for 20k wow gold, people have been doing that alot latetly, i find it alot easier to get d3 gold as of rite now than wow gold seeing that prices are soo funky rite now
 
You need to adjust your techniques, and maybe level some crafting professions, before I got HB I was allready making 2-5k a day just from bags/gems/glyphs/fish feasts.

I am using my bot to allow myself to be even more competitive and to make use of my extra account.

I like the obsidium shuffle, something that came out when cata came out pretty much... its been around before cata but pretty hot since then, and thats get 4 mamouth mining bags, bot till they are full, prospect the ore (There are bots for all of it, and do elementium better) then send the green quality gems to an alt with alchemy to convert into blue quality (With daily cooldowns ofc) and sell everything in aucitionhouse, you get about 1-2 elementium goed every 2 days with 0.01% find so they sell for alot too, good companion to sell lol. thats how i made my gold since cata came out... (But it takes a full day to fill the mamouth mining bags completly ^^ or at least 12 hours none stop botting)

Don't mine and herb yourself. That's the trick atm. Let the stupid botters gather the herbs and minerals. Just profit and buy them from the AH. To Farm Elementiumstacks (worth 20G/stacks) is a waste of time. Same with the herbs.
 
that depends on your realm, my realm elementium stacks are almost 50g a stack, and any stack over 30g is not worth buying to prospect, besides i have the bot mine while i am at work, lol
 
Of course you use your bot, when you're not at home. That's the point. But why wasting bot licences on farming?
It depends strongly on your realm, that's true, but you've to check the prices of raw materials and the prospected/enchanted.

Prospecting is on my realm atm pointless, the same with farming minerals. Prices are way down. I stick with milling and inking. Prices are stable and the profit ist 2-5x higher compared to farming mine/herbs.
 
Bottom line, it is based on your server.

Some servers have got the CRAPPIEST prices on ores and herbs, but may have insane prices on farmable items, and the other way around.
Farming ores and herbs is quite a nice and steady income, and is what I do most of the time myself, however I have been using Archaeology as well, which actually gives a bit of gold as well. While not in the 24/7 herbing category, it still gives a nice amount, is (imo) less detectable, and you can get some awesome stuff as well!

Else than the traditional things, there's always stuff like specifik epic items, however those are really luck dependant, and if you are looking for a guaranteed income, I would go for herbing and ores.
