Best use of GB

Hi guys and gals!! I fell in love with HB so I bought GB. Last night was my first use of gathering herbs. I must give high praise, after 8 hours I was astonished at how well it did. I have a question about best use of GB. I am not using it to sell the gold, I am just using it to farm things gold for myself and friends. So, should I be selling my farmed herbs or be using them to make potions, then be selling the potions. Same thing with mining. Should I be selling off the stacks of ore, or be using them for different purposes? Any information would be fantastic. I am just looking for the best use of the stuff I farm. Thanks!!!!!!

See whats selling best on your server....every one is different. If you had a huge supply then you can break it apart into many different things to keep from flooding the market. for instance if you have 100 stacks of saronite and 100 stacks of herbs. instead of just putting all 200 stacks of those on the ah in their raw farm you could take some saronite and smelt to bars, use alchemist to transmute some of bthe saronite bars into titanium bars, use some of the titanium bars and eternals to smelt titansteel, use your JC and prospect some of the saronite ore and you have gems, take some of the gems and eternals and use alchemist to transmute epic gems, take some of the raw epic gems and have JC cut them, use herbs to make flasks, pots, elixirs, use your inscriptionist to turn some of the herbs into ink, use the ink to make glyphs.

So now instead of putting a huge amount of raw saronite ore and herbs on the ah you potentially could put some of all of these on the market...or some that are most profitable

Titansteel bar
raw gems
raw epic gems
cut epic gems
flasks
elixirs
pots
ink
glyphs
...etc
