Best Tank class in 5.4???

I'm rocking a monk tank and was thinking of switching to prot war or prot pally for 5.4 ---
I raided with a prot pally in the first wing of SoO last night and as a monk tank I was trippling and sometimes quadrupling his dmg -- was he doing it wrong or are pally tanks crap now?

Monks and DKs are awesome if played right.
Pallys have alot of CDs so they have good survivablity and have always been considered easy tanking. Pallys that spec haste+mastery i think have good damage. Also remeber vengence has been nerfed some.
Wars have been near the bottom of tanking this expantion.
I havent really heard anything about druids...

Monks since they use dps stats like crit/haste and not defensive like plate classes dodge/parry will naturally have better dps.
