Hey, which remote desktop tool should I use to avioud bad fps connections? I've tried several but none of them are any good at updating games in decent rates. :(

try splashtop, its kinda cpu intensive, but the frame rates are good.

I like TeamView, but you're not going to find anything decent for video games unless you're on the same network.

Splashtop with full 30 fps through Lan or Inet. But a bit CPU-intensive like cacil told. Best tool on market and free to use.

I use teamviewer, have maintained my farm for several weeks when I was on vacation a thousand miles away.

Splashtop thd is actually payable. Awesome - but this is a tablet solution. Nothing else I've seen even comes close.

Went with Splashtop and it's freaking awesome! Thanks a lot for this, gonna use it forever! :)

Nice topic guys. What about remote control programs for MAC. We are using mac at work and i would like to be able to connect to my computer at home (windows 7) trough some remote control program ? Any suggestions..links maybe? Will appreciate it.

Very nice topic. I am using teamviewer :) it is free and very good!

Teamviewer is good, never tried slashtop, but i will. If you want a lighter application, go with Radmin.

I'd give Splashtop a go. I've used LogMeIn and TeamViewer in the past, but Splashtop is better that both of them when it comes to games/fps.
I've even been able to do random instances (w/o bot) using Splashtop, so yeah, I suggest everyone should give it a try.

Anyways, to install Splashtop for your Windows7 + Mac, have a look here.

Install the app on the MAC
Install the streamer on the Win7 PC

Make an account, and log in to this account on both machines, and you should be good to go.

Nothing is comparable to Splashtop. TV, VNC etc clones use different compressions method that are bad for gaming (its ok for destop softwares , windows).
There is splashtop client on Win/MAc also. U dont even need to create splashtop account - u can bind streamer and client with google account.
