For me I only play Alliance and these. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/blogs/kickazz006/554-[]-quest-order-68-80-[kick]-alpha.html are the bomb! Some of the best out there!

The only thing that can beat Questing for speed is PvP or Instancing. The latter two will get you to 85 faster and provide you with a little better gear.
In my opinion, quest until 85, then do Instances/PvP to get your gear.

Questing is significantly better then grinding but from my experience with questing it requires quite a bit of babysitting which can be a problem.
