Alright guys, I have 4 druids & 1 monk in level 90 ready to farm some mop heroics. But I don't know yet what setup. Like, let the monk heal/tank or dps? Maybe it dosn't matter that much but I want the best possible setup and would appreciate some ideas!

And I will soon put up my 2nd 5 man team, which classes are the best for a 5 man team?

Cheers

Since u have 5(!!!!!!!!!!!!) leather wearers i suggest you splitting the group up into different classes next time. To spread buffs loot and so on. But beside that i would let the monk tank and the druids dps as ferals maybe a boomkin and resto.

I would do a prot pally and resto druid and 3 BM hunters and get crit/mastery/multistrike pets almost all buffs covered, that is what all my 5 man teams are

I'm wondering the same thing myself. I've got my own 5-man botting team, but they are not working very well with Timewalking dungeons at all.. They will get through, but they'll wipe several times each dungeon. The team worked great in Mists of Pandaria Heroics, but that was mostly due to Timeless 535 gear and the fact that they were over-geared for the content.

My current setup consists of:

- Protection Warrior (Tank) - TuanHA
- Discipline Priest (Healer) - TuanHA
- Windwalker Monk (DPS) - TuanHA
- Elemental Shaman (DPS) - TuanHA
- Fire Mage (DPS) - Portal

Warrior was not working out at all until I figure TuanHA is enabling Gladiator Stance by default in his combat routine, that's clearly a no-go for my botting team at the moment, especially within Timewalking dungeons. Windalker seems to be working fine, but the Elemental Shaman has some piss poor DPS...

I'm considering to have 3x Beastmaster DPS instead as most people seems to be recommending that route. One important thing is to ensure you use classes with good combat routines. I'm trying to stick with TuanHA ones as they tend to perform wonders for me, but for some reason I can't get the Elemental Shaman one to work at all... It's not able to finish Bronze Proving Grounds with ilevel 618 gear... I don't fancy Mage either due to it being very squishy.

Try with Singular, you will be impressed how well it works with Dungeonbuddy. You generally do not need to tweak it too.

Just done 4/5 with Prot Warrior, Resto Shammy, BM Hunter, Retri Pala and Feral with Random Timewalking.

No enchants, no gems, overall no character had less than 2k dps, mostly they have 2.2-2.4k

Usual run took ~30min. Sometimes they wiped once a run. The warrior is not the best tank at this bracket. Would try Blood Dk next run.

Will give it a go. But my main problem with botting a full team in Timewalker dungeons are the scripts lacking in some boss fights. Take the second boss in Gundrak for instance, the stone statue one. The bots do not avoid the blue toxic on the floor and ends up dying a lot of times due to this. Same goes for the last boss in The Nexus, the bots do not care about the jump mechanics of the fight resulting it being really difficult to finish for the bots.

This right here. No matter how amazing some CR's are, they simply aren't setup to run AFK. Singular does the best job with dungeonbuddy. I've tried them all. Singular works best. Make sure to turn off pull more allowed though. Other than that, base settings work fine.

3 BM hunters, Blood DK and any healer (disc priest preferred though) seems to work best. I'd actually avoid using monks though. Singular never seemed to get monks right for any of the specs.

Well when u setup 5 man team ur goal is leveling trough dungeonbuddy, fastest way, without heirlooms, raf or any other things to help level u will be 90 in 3 days (about 12/24)
Maybe i make somewhere mistake but how u will fit blood dk there as we know they start at 55lvl ?

Noob question, but what is the point of a 5 man botting team? Is it for raf + MoP accounts and just staying at lvl90 and using those for gold-farming?

it's the fastest way of lvling from 15 to max lvl. and you will not have issues with other players.

Considering I've probably run 100 teams of different constellations but in the end I just ended up running this:

Warriors
BM hunter
BM hunter
Surv hunter
Disc Priest

Why those 3? Well hunters are the best at dpsing in dungeons. Why the survival hunter? Well its only so I can split the hunters up in profiles. I got a female BM, a male BM and a surv. Using this I can split them with If arguments, like which pet to tame etc...
If I wanted to go more manual Id just use BM hunters.

Disc priest for extra dps and speed from shields. Warriors for charge. Paladins work fine as well.

In the end, the difference between the best and worst setup is not as large as you think. The most downtime is simply in running from A to B. What's the worst setup? Not sure, probably something like:

Monk tank
Elemental
Elemental
Elemental
Restoration

It just takes too long to stop and cast shit all the time. Thats why hunters are better.

How do I know this? Well in some constellations I've had hunters, mages, warlocks or elementals mixed in. And using a dps meter that I've let on running for a week I can clearly see that the hunter did about 200% the exp of the casters.

But whats the point when you get free boost to 90 with WoD? Is it for if you just want to stay on battlechest and farm lower level content?

You get 1 character boosted to 90. By RAF'ing 5 accounts, if you link them correctly, you get 3 level 90's on your main account. The one you are leveling and 2 additional that you can grant levels to. Read a couple guides and you can get them 90.99.

its ok saying make 1 proc war and 1 restro druid and 3 hunters or something like that but when you get to 100 your not going to use them as a team anymore are you?

So just level normally with quests and have the perfect team for when they are 100, your going to spend alot more time at 100 than you are leveling
