What kind of settings are ya using for catch/pkstops per hr?

I don't take breaks, I dont stop at lured pokestops etc, I just let it work as much as possible.

Generally speaking I only bot after work during the week, and weekends as much as I can. Secondly I don't really bother with gyms apart from once a week when I go out with my daughter and attack a few local ones. As for times, last night I played the game until the bot logged me off due to restricted response from server. Basically when you hit your hard limit the game will make every pokemon flee automatically anyway, so the bot logs you off automatically. Very rarely I get to that point in terms of Pokemon caught except during holidays.
I just do the obvious things. Make sure my Vpn matches the location I'm botting in. Never snipe or go outside my own country. I don't go around chasing 100iv pokemon, though most of my Pokemon are now in the high 90's in terms of Iv rating.

The truth is people do stupid things to get themselves banned, then come to the forum and unfairly blame the bot. The fact is the bot is fantastic and provided you use half a brain cell in it's use you'll be fine. Just stick to a very busy area in your own country, (or State if in the USA) and you will stay under the radar. If you bot all over the world trying to chase regionals and 100iv pokemon then your asking for a ban. If you live in a small town or village then your asking for problems botting in that area as you'll stand out a mile. Stick to an area where you know lots of people are playing Pokemon go, such as Central Park, Santa Monica Pier, or the City of London. You need to be a fart in a jacuzzi basically (hard to find with all the bubbles).

I've had it jump up and down from 5k-30k per hour, but that all depends on what the bot is doing. I think I typically average between 12k-15k per hour though. I run the bot on the fastest speed, turn off "stop after X pokestops" and "stop after X pokemon" and leave the random throws on (to look more legit). Usually when you get those high numbers its because you caught a lot of pokemon with good throws and were near a few pokestops that it grabbed everything quickly.

But honestly 10k per hour is probably pretty safe. I seem to get soft-banned a lot but my impatience (and philosophy of "if I get banned I'll stop playing this game, and that isn't necessarily bad") has led me to some more risky practices.

yes thats a nice spot also and when your in SF go a little bit under there , you have there a pokestop called tiffany's (its a shop) thats amazing good also

i average 18k/hr long term at santa monica or p39 roughly (tentacools/psyducks ignored, karps are caught) 70% of pokemon caught are magikarp(got 16k candy on 7 diff accounts at pier 39) the rest are pidgey rat, like 2-3 dratini an hour, sometimes a dragonair. hard to say now with the starter pokemon boost. im at a charmander nest in hong kong, and it was spitting out 15-19 charmander every 30 minutes, now im getting anywhere from 25-40 charmander per 30 mins + bulbas + squirtles. I ignore a LOT of pokemon, especially the very common junk ones like paras krabby tentacool psyduck meowth venonat etc theres more but too lazy to list. gey/cat/rat/weedle are great for evolve thats mostly what i do, save up 300-400 then evolve at once. im mostly all about stardust though, pushing 1.5m on some accounts, but my 2 level 40s are constantly using it up as i power up pokemon to 3k+++

I don't like to gain exp fast I rather grind the exp from catching Pokemon to gain the Star Dust.
