i compared a full linked LW with a WB and found WB somehow a bit smoother/better.

BUT i lost damage (compared dual flame totem build with dual wands to shield/dagger)

I still don't know how this guy https://www.thebuddyforum.com/exilebuddy-forum/235163-chest-enabled-disabled.html managed such clearspeed....

If I disable scraps/scrolls & chest I reach this clearspeed, I could also mitigate my custom rules to be more "perfect" but it's doable, only a matter of movement speed & dps, faster you clear mobs, less time you spend on place.

my actual time with everything (chests and such) is around 7mn.

I haven't seen the how large the aoe on melee splash is now but it might be that doubled with whirling blade and running dual strike while only running open maps that allow for easy whirling blade movement with a really high APS weapon. It would be awesome of him to share because I really don't have the time to test out a bunch of stuff, maybe if we all suck up to him enough he will.

This is really hard to share, for everyone because something that could break the game or the market is dangerous. You wouldn't believe the stuff we can't release.

But Shockwave Totems are really OpieOP in 2.1 ^^

One more word. If you want to know if the build will work with Buddy, ask yourself "Does it some fancy things to do?" I mean, does it need to makes something more than click click? If it's like essence drain, when you first need to cast contagion and then essence drain, it's not bot friendly (without custom coding). If you choose simple skills like tornado shot, ground slam, ice crash etc etc it's going to do well.

Just want to mention, this interaction has been incorporated into EB by default. ED as ranged, just slot contagion and it will ensure contagion is active.

And damn, I came into this thread hopeful for some constructive discussion on what people are finding works RE latest changes.

In an attempt to try and kick it back off again, I'd like to inquire about why you consider 'Tanky SRS' as good and how to spec SRS for tanky? My SRS char is only doing well at the moment because of the sheer number of cannon fodder running around, but I know as soon as she gets anywhere near Malakai or merciless, will just wilt. I was thinking of going with an army build using the newish Femur staff and a skele totem, focusing on cast speed for totem output and SRS. Will have to see how that shakes out.

I just want to put a submission for best though - Blade vortex/Poison with Paw and Binos. Oh boy, the regen. Bot blazed through Merciless with negative resists and a tabula, only Lunaris is starting to prove difficult.

Has anyone put some effort into using Phase run as a movement skill?

Flicker, coc mjol, vaal spark can get that fast clear speed, they just need a better than good gear and vaal spark needs a custom routine.

Oh nice this thing is till going lol...

Anyone who finds this helpful... here you go...

I use an atziri's disfavour 6L for cyclone, + a 6L chest for mostly CWDT defensive gems with an enduring cry in there. The rest is just pure offense on gear with capped resistances and life on every piece (80+) as well as meeting your attribute needs. With this Im at 72k with a haste and hatred aura on in my HO. With frenzy charges its even higher, and with bloodrage CWDT its even more. just the base 72k with the two aruas the bot can farm and one/two shot (which takes less than a second by the way) most mobs and 75% on avarage blue mobs. yellows are super easy, and the bosses of each map are a joke for the bot as long as you know what to filter out boss wise in map runner (a plugin). The only downside on this is how the bot has insanely poor quality as far as routing and pathing is concerned... the amount of times it gets stuck on the stupidest things is beyond annoying. Despite all this... its highly effective.

Compared to my caustic arrow and SRS MF characters, im waking up in the morning to find far more loot on the non MF cyloner than the MF gear chars. Keep in mind ive got these characters pretty freakin decked out... and it has come to my realization that in terms of botting for at least 6 hours... Normal built characters will haul in on average more loot (including currency and uniques) than MF gear characters. This is because with all that MF gear you have sacrificed more and more offensive/defensive stats that let you go so much further in 70-76 maps (what I deem optimal for botting). Really MF characters should only be used in dried lake or non "map" maps... since the level is so low and any upper class end MF character can run them with ease and a higher yield on items. For maps, they just die to the dumbest things, but thats where the map only uniques come from, so its really up to you and what you are okay with.

Hope that helped, yall have a good one~

Interesting discussion point. I remember when botting for D3's AH was all the rage, it came down to LPH in the end (legendaries per hour). After a fair amount of anecdotal study, a number of us found that the most LPH was generated not from stacking magic find or equivalent, but from the number of instances you could run per hour. Characters with zero magic find were pulling more LPH than those with, due to the sheer damage output they had, allowing them complete more runs per hour, thus more LPH.

I do agree that in regard to PoE's case, MF runs come into play with the old Piety/Dominus as well as Dried Lake runs, but unsuitable for Mapping. I'd only start worrying about MF on maps when you clear top tier stuff and squeezing more dps out is superfluous.

Is this character you are referencing on Talisman? Or this your Standard character of choice?

This may also be because in D3 the longer you farmed without getting a legendary the higher chance became to get one (the mechanic may have been that you got increased drop chance after reaching a certain thresholds of mobs killed with no legendary drop). When a legendary finally dropped the drop chance was reset to the normal or standard.

[edit]: Dont know if they have a similar drop system in PoE, if someone can confirm or deny that would be appriciated.

How much is your avg time per map with the cycloner?

TL;DR

Talisman, on Standard, if you have a incredibly decked out MF character than has such amazing stats on gear, then map running would obviously be worth it since it can then handle them with ease. The fact of the matter is, a new league will never have been around as long as standard, and therefore has about 95% less "GG" items on the market.

How much is your avg time per map with the cycloner?

With the map clear set to 75-85% exploration, about 6-8 minutes from t1-t6 maps, though I do have my max map set to mob level 78 with a heavily customized map ignoring. This will in turn cause you to wake up to several "skipped" maps in your map tab, but in turn will result in higher currency and unique income cause your bot basically did only the ones you know the character can handle.

is ur cycloner stopping random sometimes ? I just die sometimes standing there. Is there a way to fix ?

Having the same issue, it gets stuck on edges its not random, but it takes a long time for the bot to change the coordinates so that he unstucks.

Yea that a load of bs. So you just set Exploration Percent to 75%-80%?
