Best class to bot with!

You need to be really heavy into this stuff to make any money. There was a guy apparently making ~$700 an hour botting 100 accounts at a time and selling all his gold. Botting 1 acct at a time? You might make a few bucks. But if you're like me. You'll prolly end up using all the gold for personal use before you get a chance to sell any of it lol. 250k/h isn't an extreme amount of gold and that's the most I've been able to get out of DB so far.


Interestingly I started this poll right when DB released and the votes were hugely in Monk's favor. But after people started using the bot it seems the votes shifted heavily towards DH.

im so close to buy a lvl 60 monk for botting. Can you please tell me a good setup and if the class is worth the trouble ? So far i bot with DH and Wiz and i'll place DH on top above all due to ferrets, passive run speed, range dps and fact that i have few sets of gear with MF/GF and Dex for few Dex bots

So, Monk is good ?

I would have to agree, in my current barb gear I can decide if I want to use Wotb based on if the mobs have CC or not. If they don't then I save it for the next one since I just run past everything that isn't an elite/champ.

Currently with sword and board I can kill butcher before his 2nd charge. 1.0.3 will make act 1 very attractive to afk farm.

i farm gold with 2 acc and buy gear for my main char, on 3rd acc. after im done i will buy gear for few friends.

For nightmare gold runs, the best is simply Witch doctor. his summons are still great in this area, has a cheat death if something goes wrong, and clears everything with aoe damage. very easy to do.
i havent tried botting anything else yet so i cant let you know about other places.

At the moment, definitely not any squishy class because the poor combat logic and pathing makes you get hit way more times than you actually should.

i vote wizzy because of the aoe of chain lightning, but its only good farming on nm right now because there is nothing to make the wizzys use their skills properly yet

Wizard. Archon with short runs makes everything a breeze even with low DPS. I've maxed GF + Radius, and all the other cool things i liked because i didnt need to stack DPS for sark if i was already 1 shotting him.
I've botted to 60 with Monk, Barb, Wiz & DH(55). So i cant speak for WD.

I say barb. much better dps than monk, slightly less durable. 2 stronk!

It depends how much gold you want to farm each hour.

Run Barb or Monk for 50,000 gold per hour. Nice cooldowns, but very very slow.

Run Witch Doctor or Demon Hunter for 800,000 gold per hour. Fast clear, monsters drop like flies.

Sakaroth isn't something i would do.

So now its Core or ACT 2\3 champion runs.
