barbs are cheep to gear and a blind 1handed monkey can play one so theres no way a bot can fuck it up
 
I was botting with 3 cm wiz + slow time + simplefollow in one game.

After I saw this post I lvled a barb to 60 and gear him up. He has 180k dps unbuffed can handle MP10 but dies a lot. What should I do? Farm at MP0?
 
I?ve tried Wizard and Barb-botting. And I must say that Wizard with archon is the most satisfying class/build for me. The Barbs often ran away from the loot, so even if my wizards "only" gets around 1k IPH (vs +1.2k IPH from barbs) they pickup more loot.
 
all class are fine with similar damage output, except for DH. DH simply sucks. I couldn't find a build that does comparable damage to other classes. I used TurboHUD to monitor damage.
 
Dh is kinda decent but depends on what build u are using.
I was using my DH for botting and i get ~50-60m xp/h on mp4 or 5 cant remember. Gear was around 20m

Post your build and gear please? I will try to optimize for it in the codes (and release to the community). Those are wonderful statistics.
 
If by best you mean most drops and most profit its obviously barb. Anyone that says difference densest know what they are doing. Its not debatable.

If by best you mean most fun, then thats upto debate.

Its not the barbs fault. This is user error.
 
can you tell me the skills that you use and the stats for your monk.... the mine always die :p 50k life 80dps 700 ars 4.3k armor....

you probably just had a fail monk

that being said the barbarian is probably the best class to use for botting. The monk and barb both take 20% less damage then all of the other classes.
 
I would have to say Barbarian is the best to bot with but I love Monks so I'll stick with it. I can do MP8 dying 2-4/h which is actually impressive and that's most likely due to some damage reflect elites or the poison from trees since I farm Act I.
 
The goal is to farm MP10 as fast as possible with 0 deaths, me think. :)
 
It doesn't surprise me that Barbarian is overwhelmingly the most popular character to bot with. All a human has to do is keep up the buffs and right-click to both kill and stay alive. That makes it a trivial task for a bot.

Over all of my characters, I have the highest exp/h and the highest gold/h on my Barb. However, for personal reasons, I enjoy playing my Witch Doctor when I actually play. WD seems to have gotten a pretty bad vote-score here, and I can understand why, but playing a WD as a human is actually pretty easy and fun.
 
Problem is, for the WD to survive mp10, it requires a huge amount of eHP and damage mitigation. :)
 
MONKS OFC! no brainer really!

Im doing mp10, yes i die but its only on the random packs 2x reflext arcane u know the funny ones.

226k unbuff with mantra of evasion - backlash rune, sweeping wind - cyclone rune, serenity - tranquility rune, breath of heaven - blazing wrath rune, cyclone strike - wall of wind rune, and last i use deadly reach with forsight rune.

as for passive skills i use seize the initiative, sixth sense and guardians path.

the thing with this build is that, the more monsters u have pulled the faster they die!!

with 50%+ crit chance, 70%+ dodge chance and high dps (works with what ever dps u have ofc!! but higher=better as allways ;))

with backlash and my stats i get on every dodge i do, AoE dmg that crits in the 200k range!

so when i pull a pack of 30-50 mobs on mp10 act1 and just afks the most of all mobs will die within 3sec just from the backlash! and with 2,9%LS i have 100% life all the time more or less!

please try this spec its frigging awsome
