PS : wd gets abt 450k GPH on mp3 while monk gets abt 500-550k GPH mp2 both running act3 inferno

I'm not sure what's more stupid, running higher monster power than 2 (even MP2 should require like 150k+ dps) or copying builds blindly from BIS players.
 
Using my Monk: Level 60 (94), 106K DPS, 36K HP, 5500 Armor, 445 Resist, 1300 LOH, Movement +35%, 58% Exp bonus (thanks to Leoric's Signet and Helm/Gem), 14 yards pickup.

Started out with more protection, a stormshield, 2600 LOH and 95K DPS doing MP8. Could do 300K GPH and 6M EPH at best. Even did MP10. I thought I would get great drops at higher MP but it was just slow.
Switched my build and down to MP1. Now I run through killing everything easy. Only picking up 300+ Gold. Level 63 items. I get lots of great stuff and average about 690K GPH (sometimes 720K) and 38M EPH (sometimes 42M).
I'm using Ultimate Raoha Magi-Gardettos Edition and Trinity. Using FOT/Thunderclap and sweeping wind combo. I was using Tempest Rush but found that Cyclone Strike with Implosion pulls them in and kills them quicker. Getting extra Exp from 50+ Massacre, 20+ mighty blow.

Frankly speaking, I am also kinda skeptical on running higher mp lvl. Hope you could clear my doubts regarding this issue. As ive heard from players who can run mp8 and above, all of them told me that the stats they have gotten from the legendaries that drop at mp8 and above are way much better than those of lower mp lvl. Do you by any chance able to clarify this for me? Would greatly appreciate if this doubt of mine could be cleared, cos altho running mp3 now to me is like running on mp0, i do not really wish to spend time investing on better gears to farm higher mp. Thx in advance.

PS : Nope you dont need 150k+ dps to run on mp2... 50k with an average of 500 AR and apprx 30k hp and apprx 800+ loh would be more than enough to rape mp2. This stats might not work for some classes, but as far as ive tested, with this stats, mp2 is a breeze for monks wd and wiz

casters and dh (range classes in general) , with the right gear/build/profile can be really op, just sayin

thats bullocks ! my 90k dps WW barb paragon 75 has been running 5 hours now with 570k gph... and my 300% GF monk with 105k dps has +600k gph over 12 hours run...

I am running mp4 and it goes pretty smoothly with 120k dps buffed.

had 8 barbs pre dec 18th, 3 barbs after, made 4th bot a monk, all new bots will be monks lol (2nd is 42 atm)

i probably voted barb for this poll back before i tried both
 
Monk is too expensive for a bot, >25M for gear and weapon. I think barb is cheap and best.

Not sure, Im with two 200M Monk doing mp5. Dunno if barb can handle it with only 200M.
 
i have a monk and barb. Both were roughly about the same lvl, same dps.

Monk 120k dps lvl 30+, barb 125k dps lvl 30+.
I vote for monk as monk seems to kill faster. Botting both as same time, barb seems to run faster with 'run with the wind skill' however took longer to kill mobs with ww. My monk seems to clear mobs quicker, hence moving on to the next target faster.
Monk at 70+ now where barb only 60+.
Monk has exp per hr at 25-33m
Barb has exp per hr 22-27m
Gold/items per hr isnt accurate now as monk has higher gold/magic find due to higher paragon lvl
Deaths per hr, Monk 0 deaths at mp1, Barb 2-3 deaths at mp1 (monk 30k hp with 600+AL, barb 45k hp with 500-600+ AL)
Used to be barb fan till i tried monk. Never know till u try both.
