Best class for botting.

Ive been using 3 crusaders all with different specs (shotgun, pony and condemn) with great success!

@joka

demonbuddy settings for your monk build?

tbh the monk pretty much works out of the box (on base settings) although I would suggest watching a few runs and deciding if there are things in the combat routine you want to change (always keep a backup of original ofc)

The only changes I regularly make (and do this for all chars):
I ALWAYS have turned off avoid AoE, beast charge, Fire chains etc...

my monk runs with 16m tough and 1.4m DPS unbuffed, and with full buffs, 43m tough and 4.7m dps (would be higher if I could get a decent Sunwoku amulet lol)

What kind of xp/hr does that monk net you?

I've tried every single class except monk with quite solid gear, and so far the winner is stampede/condemn crusader. Stampede generally wins because it's a much safer build and i have a furnace for it. But condemn does quite well. Both usually net about 4bish/hr. Sometimes it's a lot less but i think that's broken behavior that i haven't narrowed down yet, because there never be a should be a 50% difference in runs with the same exact setup.

tbh at present my pony'sader nets higher exp than my monk, that may change with 2.1.2 as the Exploding Palm/Bells build is just insane and literally melts maps, the kill rate is just cwaaazy

My personal "favorite" - Pet Doctor

Cons:
- Needs "Some" gear. Tasker and Theo Gloves, 40%+ pet attack speed and Mask of Jeram head for 75%+ pet dmg.
- Squishy without unity/gear. Unity combo does wonders and theres an item to transfer damage to dogs too
- Not very high charter DPS. Well, pets do most of the work
- High CD "heavy hitters" as in skills.

Pros:
- 200k / sec self-heal. Yup. Needs gear tho. Leeching beasts doggie rune. One dog hits, all Life-on-hit for you... Six dogs... Get Life-on-hit, lots of it. The load from paragon gets you started niiiice.
- VERY large DPS area. You have LOTS of pets, 6 dogs, garga, 15 fetishes after a while. Those things run around, tanking for you and hitting the mobs you aint.
- Error-frienly. Sometimes profiles mess up, bot lags, etc... Pets keep on bashing and your DPS hardly gets hit if something is messed up
- Best item-for-botters. "thing of the deep" an off-hand mojo with a TWENTY yd gold pickup range. Also picks up hp-orbs so your bot stays alive better. Quite common drop too btw
- easy to skill-setup. Wanna have heavy-hitters on your hotbar, can do. Wanna have many fast cd skills, also viable. Anything goes, still works. Pretty pre-set passives tho.
- Easy to start with. Even with no gear is VERY survivable and fast farmer, you dont need ANY specifig gear to get started but it does help ALOT

My setup, stuff you "need" - All the passives that add more dogs. That takes 3 slots. Next is "fetish sycho-whatevers" - 15 of these guys critting 3mil each... Primary is frogs with "rain of toads" rune, IMPORTANT! Very high "proc-rate" for fetishes and decent AOE damage too. 1 slot ofc go to Gargantuan with the cleave-attack, its better then poison aoe, tested. 1 more for dogs with "leeching beasts rune" thats basicly 99% of your hp-income.
That leaves second mouse button and 2 slots to pick whatever you want. Many roll with Voodoo and Fetish army, those hit a ton against elites. I roll with piranado and Grasp of dead/rain of corpses for more overall dps and Locusts with fire-rune for more dmg. Locusts are a bit mana-expensive but do tons of dmg and hit LOT of enemies.

as exp / h achieving this?

Kinda hard to say. My pet doctor is geared allmost perfectly. HOWEVER, i must mention this, even with "perfect" gear theres limit to how far pet-doc can go. Mine is pretty much at it.

200.00.000 - 500.00.00 XP / hour. Grift 23 goes smoot, maybe a minute in the ticker left. T4 goes nice with no deaths. T3 goes fast and is best leges / h.

PET DOC (see my sig for a build and gear and other guides in forums) can easily do t6, can easily g-rift upto 30+ by bot, you can get an easy 2b exp per hr by running FoM, or halls 3 or even just T6 rifts.

BUT

you will have faster kills and better XP as M6-DH, Pony'Sader or Monk by botting (which is why I use the last 2 most)

Mine is max-pets & self-heal focused. Yours is ele% focused. Mine does have a DPS-limit but its very easy build and VERY effective early on. Heck, with yellow gear its very viable.

EDIT: id REALLY like to see that crusa-build in action. Any video of it? Cause it seems REALLY strange mix in my eyes. I dont play crusa much so i might as well gear the sucka towards botting.

what stats are you running with? have you min/max your gear? are you using at least level 25 of the legendary gems?

If all of the above is yes then I have no clue why your exp is so low, you kill speed should be fast enough to clear most t6 rifts in 10mins and your exp should be a minimum of 2bph

to give a rough example of my monk,
I have 9062 dex, 46%chc, 280%chd, 53.3%cdr,
1.3m dps and 18.7m tough (unbuffed)
4.7m dps and 43.6m tough (buffed) without any pylon buffs

and I have a 600k dps unity templar by my side too ;)

maximised gear = faster kill rate = faster exp

would be better after getting 55% of cdr use jordan? making the unit? in the case of sader?

I took a look at this build. I see lots of spirit generators but can't figure out what all the spirit is spent on. There doesn't seem to be a major spirit spender like I'm used to seeing in a build.

THis build doesn't work anymore due to the changes to the Sunwuko Set (but the damage came from spamming SW @ 75 spirit per cast which caused clones to spawn which did insane damage)

I would point you to both the monk builds listed in my sig as these work well for 2.1.2 (the cold fusion one is the easiest of all to run tbh) they both work extremely well but the moment you get the new Gungdo Bracers they are just stupidly OP (only Raekors-Barb clears faster imo)

with the cold fusion monk I run regular trinity (will spend some time this weekend looking at the monk.cs combat file) just let it use Tempest Rush always with zigzag (this is your flurry generator, as soon as it hits a mob the flurry stack converts to damage, so if it uses EP as your TR interrupt then it applies EP before Flurry stack which triggers EP which triggers explosion, with Gungdo bracers this becomes a chain reaction of epic proportions)

If you are running just T6 rifts then you can swap Epihany from Shroud to Insight for better spirit management not really needed though as Shroud still gives enough regen

(the only change I immediately make in monk.cs is the mystic ally trigger change from 40 to 80 which will then give you permanent TR on Ephinany downtime)

Code:
// Mystic ally
            if (CanCast(SNOPower.X1_Monk_MysticAlly_v2) && TargetUtil.EliteOrTrashInRange(30f) && !Runes.Monk.AirAlly.IsActive)
            {
                return new TrinityPower(SNOPower.X1_Monk_MysticAlly_v2, 0f, Vector3.Zero, Trinity.CurrentWorldDynamicId, -1, 2, 2);
            }

// Air Ally
            if (CanCast(SNOPower.X1_Monk_MysticAlly_v2) && Runes.Monk.AirAlly.IsActive && Player.PrimaryResource < 80)
            {
                return new TrinityPower(SNOPower.X1_Monk_MysticAlly_v2);
            }
