Best class for botting.

I've had best luck with DH and Sader, wd's are too squish for bot AI (jade and pet), bot doesn't know how to effectively apply FB dot for wiz so theyre out, and I just havent tested barb or monk (but they're more so "fun" classes anyways and not really for deeps).
Also to mention, I get about 2.5b exp/hour on sader and dh (I don't die much/at all so pools stack effectively), less than that running bounties; so unless you get an exp farming profile rifts are certainly the way to go for exp and legs.

I've had the best luck on a Pet WD, get around 2-3bil/hour with 0 deaths/hour pretty much every day.
Crusader and monk work the worst for me, probably just because they are required to constantly be doing something to be effective though, and with my settings they just run around too much. Been able to get over 2bil XP/hour with every class other then them. Wizard can be really good, but to survive with the wiz i'd really have to recommend boon of the hoarder + goldwrap, it can't seem to stand that well on it's own without that.
Hoarder+goldwrap is a good combo for any class when you're just starting to gear them up. Just throw in an avarice band and you'll be set defensively.

MadMayhem, what settings are you currently running with pet doc, and what kinda spec? I'm curious to know because I have an awesome petdoc I would love to farm on but it dies so easily when botting because the bot just does really dumb stuff. Unfortunately I don't have smk (hence why I'm so eager to bot on wd), so I'm currently running a poison zuni/ dog build with Rhen'ho-addling toads. I've found this build to be much stronger than the fire build I was running prior, RG melts in seconds. Insight is greatly appreciated.

WD:with 100% community buff currently hitting 6bill exp per hr on Rifts
Rhen'ho-addling toads WD is just godly for botting as you have near perma CC on all mobs and your kill speed is FAST (I like to run poison pet WD with 60% poison buff)
Zuni: chest, feet, mojo
Blackthorn: Amulet, Legs, waist (to negate ground effects)
Theo & Tasker + Mask of Jeram
RoRG + Unity (Gems: BotT, Enforcer, Toxin all rank 30+)
you faceroll everything and ignore most ground effects which means you can bot 24/7 and never slow down for a death

I use a 57%cdr perma AK pony'sader which is just OP, nothing farms as well as pony'sader imo (not even M6-DH) as you can just faceroll everything, stand in any and every ground effect and never a chance of dying, (in trinity : I take off all avoid AoE, avoid Fire chains etc... and let it run 24/7) just need a decent Furnace to finish him off and farm even faster

Something I think is always overlooked
I advocate gearing up a Templar follower by the following:
as you are running UNITY then forget about any vitality on any follower items, reroll any vit into something useful preferably aspd or chc (this is because max CHD is 150% for follower)
Aim for:
max CHD on relic
max chc/aspd on rings/amulets
+10%dmg,7%Aspd & socket in weapon (preferably doombringer for the +%phys dmg)
10%chc & socket for shield
put max ruby gem in weapon & Shield
With this setup your templar will be at least 600k dps which helps you burn through rifts faster too (my current templar follower is 732k dps with my crusader and 597k dps for my WD)
this is a big free damage boost which people seem to overlook

Ahh I see, no dog ring but using unity instead, I will try out that wd variation though! I was running swamp land pants for poison buff but the bthorns could help for botting. Do you still run dogs, or is it fetish focused (syncophants + army), I currently have dog passives stack for 6dog psn wd

Care to link your build and give a few specifics on your gear? i can hit 4-5 billion doing rifts with my Roland's set Crusader but that's about it.

My current WD is a Fetish pet-doc with an SMK. Before I got my SMK I used a near perfect sun keeper and tried various builds, actually had very poor luck using the zuni set, in the end I just used a poison TMF build with Jeram, Tasker, and Aughilds 3 Piece and had quite good success still. I've always used Grave injustice paired with ToTD on him as well though, dunno if that's necessary but i'm a very large fan of the combo. The range on my Grave Injustice is pretty much the size of my window. If you're struggling for survivability on a WD though, ToTD + Hoarder + Goldwrap will help a lot. Won't be necessary, but especially for DB that combo is just golden.

I used Joka's wd build and it worked pretty well for me, personally I dont like GI bc the only use I really see for it is BBV uptime but you move on to new mobs so fast that it wastes 2 skill slots for me, currently just running 2 dog passives(damg and move speed), syncophants, and ptv for passives instead. Using unity in place of the TMF was a huge survivability buff, I don't even think the full bthorns is needed but I have a decent set so i'm running it anyways. SMK certainly make BBV more viable though, just needa get lucky

I use Soj + Unity with my SMK, and yea, don't bother using BBV unless you have an SMK imo. It's a good skill, but DB just can't use it well.
I'd also only use blackthorns 2 piece if you get a good amulet and belt, don't bother going for 4. Immunity to those particular effects honestly just isn't that good, they aren't that powerful effects anyway.

Perma-AK Pony'Sader this is the exact build and set-up I use.
I Currently have 57% cdr without gogok stacks so have perma-AK, change trinity settings to ignore AOE and ignore fire chains, disable prioritize health globes and the bot just smashes through everything in sight without pause
Again I stress the importance of a DPS templar as your follower as it is a free 500k+ dps in rifts which help with faster kill speed
t6 rifts for pure EXP and the usually crappy legendaries

Which profile are you currently using? I followed your build and adjusted the settings you posted. But my sader seems suck with using phalanx, I did a search on here and a guy posted changing code in the crusadercombat.cs file which I changed from a 3 to a 1. Any other tweaks with DB to make this work better?
