I've currently got mine using Energy Armor, Magic Weapon, Hydra and Familiar, Shock pulse as primary and Blizzard as secondary. The bot doesn't seem to use hydra or blizzard. Are there other abilities that this combat class can use that I can take advantage of and make myself more efficient?

Melee wizard works well too.
I'm currently using http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonbuddy-forum/combat-routines/60775-build-wizard-tank-bot-build-inferno-champion-farming.html with a small twist; Explosive blast - Chain reaction instead of Familiar and it works rather well.
Guys I was really frustraded with a wizard when he got to 60.
Then I found the build I am linking here. He walked thru act1 inferno and killed EVERYTHING and it was a breeze. I got about half way thru act2 before I died, and then I died and died and died LOL
ok it wasn't that bad but I started farming act 1 for gear now on a monk since I can not find anything that works. I tried the Wizical Mass in the bot but he just stands there so that aint it.
Has anyone got this to work with the bot, or is there something better for botting act 1?
This was with 14.6kdps, 37% crit chance and 162 crit damage and 575 all resist.
less than 1 million for the junk I have on.
