Belphegor the official combat routine - We need you're feedback to improve it!

I was watching Belphegor closely and I think it is also not taking into account the haste produced from Frenzy or something...

I noticed that during combat it wasn't swinging very fast and that if I just held down left click it attacked much much faster. I'm not sure how to test this properly though.
 
/jtljudoman , i agree with this problem, i watched it too and it's not swinging fast enough as left click attack held down
tested it 148 version too, but still have same problem

I have several questions and tips

1) I?m not sure how and when does buddy use the smoke screen and preparation?
E. g . I do use the preparation (DH 60) as the 2nd potion (rune battle scars) so in the routine can be something like "when my life goes under 35%, use potion, if not possible use preparation and when this should be useful in the very best way, after using the potion and prep just vault randomly somewhere away". I think that implementing this will do the behelpegor more usable. Hm, also to consider, that instead of vault somebody uses the smoke screen, but in case,that bot is standing in arcanes or fire or near moltens, vault is definitely better way.

2) I think caltrops are needed and should work so, that when firing is initialised, the caltrops will be placed once and then after 3 seconds of interuptable firig next one. I know that this cant work perfectly but the goal is to give the bot more chance to survive in hardest territores :) thats all from me for now. Btw: I?ve modified profile from lewis for the hell dificulity and it works ok, but wher may I learn more about programing or creating profiles? In default docs is nothing.

I've noticed similar behavior. I'm honestly uncertain right now whether this is a combat routine thing or a DemonBuddy thing. I'm trying to figure it out, because I think it could go a long way toward making the bot more effective.

It's most noticeable when a monster is running away and you're chasing after it. The bot seems to click repeatedly on the monster's position, which causes stutter-step behavior and then your character never actually swings at it until the monster stops moving. By contrast, when a player clicks and holds on a monster running away, it will swing and attack the entire time it's chasing it. This makes a huge difference in kill speed (and survivability if you are using life on hit gear).

In my humble opinion, this should be a top priority for Belphegor / DemonBuddy to resolve.

Yeah, I've been noticing this over the past 5-6 days, and unfortunately it kinda makes the bot not worth using until it gets resolved as I'm not able to clear things nearly as fast and I am dying much more often. It's definitely not a matter of resist because I farm Act 1 with a monk at 883 AR, 48k dps + conviction mantra, and 29k hp with 6% lifesteal. Also, I'm not sure if it's just a select group of people or if the issue has been affecting everyone. If someone could verify that their bot is attacking at full speed I would appreciate it.

Anyone experiencing really slow attacks? Watching my monk, he seems to click primary attack much slower than say holding it onto a target.

As well as small delay in decision making to cast spells. Is it me? Or is it not possible to make these actions more fluid?
 
plz add Fan of Knives support (Demon Hunter) it works perfectly with Generic (2+nearby monsters) but not with Beph.
 
Sweeping wind for monk is based on the buffs on the monk at the point it was casted. What this means is that generally you should cast damage buffs before sweeping wind, not the other way round.

To the point. BF/Faith should be casted before sweeping winds is triggered.

Maybe the range is a little low tho.

I think you may've hit the nail on the head with this observation. The bot seems to completely ignore your actual attack speed. I have tested with Frenzy, Frenzy Shrines, and Berserker (Insanity) and all of them are attacking at some sort of set rate. You get the benefit and it does increase your attack speed slightly, but if you simply click and hold the mouse on a monster with any of those buffs up, you'll see him begin to swing twice as fast. It's as if the bot is clicking once per 500ms on its target (an arbitrary guess) and that solely determines attack speed.

If this gets fixed, it will make a huge difference in actual bot efficiency. I'm still not even sure it's a Belphegor issue, though.

Someone in the IRC made a fork of Belphegor and made some major changes and combined with my changes I don't have any problem with frenzy anymore. The fork is called IncubusCC, superreeen said he would post it soon. He uses something called Frame Locking (I think that's what it was called.)
 
Is it possible to do some tweaks for Shadow Power (demon hunter), currently it's just getting spammed all the time infight, even at 100% hp, it's the best defensive cooldown for demon hunters, better than smoke screen for inferno runs
 
Is there a fix or an update on the way for Belphegor with the attackspeed problem. I have more than the gear needed to farm act 1 or 2 with deamonbuddy but the LoH dosent work when the bot dosen?t attack att the speedrate it should :(

Hello, I have still unanswered question in this topic regarding DH skills, but ok. Now only one question why the wiz does not use the diamond skin?
 
Guys the attack speed issue is a DB issue.
There is a new plugin which fixes it temporarily called ticks per second.
 
how to get It to stop using WoTB on normal mobs. I want it to only use WoTB on champ packs.
