Before I buy Lifetime..

I was originally just wanting to upgrade to RAF Session, But I am thinking about doing lifetime. I just want to know if the bot will definitely be updated for Cataclysm and approximately how long its going to be down?
 
Yes, it will be. There is no estimate for downtime as we don't know what may change with security or other parts of the game when Cat hits.
 
Lifetime rocks, if you ever plan on doing anything besides quest / grinding, you'll need to get GB anyways, and this way you don't have to have the hassle of keeping track of what you have, simply just know that you have 3 logins per lifetime that you have
 
by3 login's per life time he means you can run 3 wow accounts at once i got a little confused by that in the start aswell :)
 
Here is exactly what I meant:

1 Lifetime = 3 logins to buddy products. I have 3x Lifetime, so I get 9 logins to buddy products :)

Yeah i have one lifetime account and soon gunna upgrade to a second. ;) Best choice ever.
 
Yeah, once you get your 2nd lifetime, might as well expand to a 3rd and bite the bullet. I like 3 per server (1 herb, 2 miners). But you need private buyers unless you're simply going to smelt the ore and sell to vendor. If you dont have a private buyer for the herbs (or ink) then dont even make an herbalist, its not worth it in the long run.
 
Three eg? You mine saronite and cobalt or double saronite? I can't imagine you smelt 6 toons worth of bars, I can't stand doing one too . I'm using one miner and one herb, expanding same combo to a second server. But I have noticed without private buyer that I can't get rid of these lichblooms fast enough and might convert back to sholozar herbs.. Hmm.

I have private buyer for adders, only reason I switched was bc my lotus buyer wanted ice and Lich or he'd stop. Then he disappeared but I kept on bc I thought the herbs from storm peak sold faster. I'm having to sell them at about15-17g per stack for both types.. Ouch.

My saronite pvtbuyer just went from 15g to 13g since the ah prices took a shit in the last week, sucks but saves me time from smelting and 1g profit off bar price. I know he's transmuting my saronite for profit. Two miners though, dang. That might be a good deal since prices aren't much higher than 25g/bar and would make my herb toon more valuable.. Smelting is sooooooo long and my only miners are my farmers.

The icecrown profiles for mining didn't seem too well but I did have it set for herb/mining at the time. Does storm have saronite? Can't have two miners in same zone.
 
yeah storm icecrown and shola all have pure tita / saronite. the 75 and lower zones are cobalt
 
I wouldn't bulk up on lifetime purchases just yet. Cataclysm is coming, and how long will it be before the meshes are updated? HB was down about 3 weeks after this last patch, which was relatively minor in comparison.

I'm trying to power level before Cataclysm, because I suspect it will be down for a month or three afterwards. The players could help mesh it, but with no tools provided for creating your own mesh and no documentation, that ain't happening.
 
I don't see what's the problem... if you're willing to buy lifetime it doesn't make a difference if you buy it now or after cata launch... the only difference is that you can plvl/gather 3 acc's just before cata hits and start over again if gb/hb are up for cata... imho these are the best public bots available so far and 80€ ( approximately 110$ ) is a f***ing good prices for a liftime licence of such a godlike toolkit...

Wow three weeks really? You need to learn to count. It was less than 7 days.
 
No, it was more than two weeks. I don't count the times it was up for 1 day, down for 2 - I'm only counting the times it was up, and stayed up for at least 3 days. That was over 2 weeks, here in the US at least.

I thought it came up on the Friday and went back down Tuesday AM?. But then I'm always one for being accurate about things :-). Btw, I dunno if you know this... but yeah... lifetime actually means the lifetime of the product, so by waiting until after cata you wont actually be saving anything other than losing the time between now and then to bot with..
 
Um, you're right, come to think of it! With the lifetime purchase, it doesn't matter how long the product will be down. The yearly purchase which I bought, however - I'm just outta luck there.

I've tried several times to try to convert my 6 licenses into GB lifetime purchases, but no one responds - Bossland, Tony, nada.

Based on the customer service and downtime so far, I bet they won't be offering a rebate for all the downtime, for customers with a yearly subscription :-P
 
They have stated that they wont. I guess it just all boils down to the person, i appreciate them taking the time to make sure the product is working and don't really mind losing time to make sure the bot is working well. Each to their own though. I went through the process of buying a single GB subscription and was fairly confident it had all gone through as the basket said it had, tried contacting boss etc but no response. Got a call a few days later from my bank saying that my bank had blocked the transaction as they thought it was suspicious... after the lack of response from Boss i decided not to purchase because of the potential headaches etc. But this is just my experience, it doesnt take away from the fact that the bot is amazing - particularly now IB etc is available!
