Been away for a while, what is the status?

Hello all,

I've been away for several months, but have recently decided to get back into WOW. I am curious as to the status of HonorBuddy? I know currently that it is down due to the patch. I'm more asking about how things are running? Is everything pretty much as it had been in the past? (I stopped around May, just before the last detection).

Thanks for any info. From browsing the forums, I am assuming that everything is as it was before. But I just like to be sure.

Bumping this thread as I am also interested. I have heard HB is outdated and is currently absolutely not safe to use. Someone shed some light here?
 
People will always say you will get banned.
But, while it's safe to assume that you may get banned, you won't always.


Banwaves aside, it entirely depends on what you're doing.
I'm currently in the process of leveling every class in the game (11/11) on 5 accounts from 1 to 100 and not one of them has been banned yet using the default questing pack.
They've been running for practically 24/7, one after the other. They're running as we speak.

Questing 1 to 100 for the most part is "safe" enough to not worry about.

However, if you're farming dungeons, battlegrounds, or grinding - then there's a higher chance of getting banned.


People saying "if you use it, you'll be banned" are exaggerating because it's assumed you'll end up doing something stupid.
As long as you bot with sense, you should be fine.

Do not think any type of botting is safe blizzard is always trying to catch you so bot at your own risk. In answer to your question in the last 3 yrs I had never been warned or banned using Hononor but in the last 6 months I have had 5 bans of 6months and 5 bans of 18 months and yes they r the same accounts being banned twice. But from none over 3yrs to 10 bans in 6 months.....all I can say is botting is risky don't bot on a account you cant handle losing,,,,,,,,,,,,ps nothing AZHEMOTH has said will save you from being banned if blizzard detects the bot.....I use the bot for cr`s and a few profiles and that didn't stop me from getting the ban hammer...So after saying all that you bot at your own risk...

All i did was Garrisions on my toons everyday (missed a few days here and there) at roughly the same time with custom routines and Garrisonboss; still got banned. That's all i did. Nothing else. No selling of gold, farming bgs, running dungeons, etc. HB is the same as always; blizz knows whats up so its simply a case of the risk v reward.

For me; the risk was worth the reward so idm; I'm not happy I was banned but I knew it was going to happen eventually. (Salute Alisha, amazing botbase)
 
the status is exactly the same as it always was.

Hey, your probably getting a lot of different messages but if you bot you will get caught (eventually) just weigh risk and reward. Don't bot on an account you don't wish to get banned and you're fine. I've been caught in both ban waves and from two different bots. At this point bots are detectable, its kinda obvious, just hope that blizz sticks to this 6 months pattern and you're good for the next 5 months.
 
Detected as before, nothing special about it. Every bot can be detected, blizzard is just focused on honorbuddy right know. Someone fall, someone rise.

This is bulshit the status is not like always bec not always part of forum caled ban section is full i remember a time when in this section was 1 ban for 5 years so dont writh a shit
they doing nothing to help us whit bot detection only making bot working or not afor every patch
 
People are getting banned all over the place just for using combat routine. My account got banned and i didnt bot for like 2 month, and last time it was only once, didnt bot on that account before that, and didwhat? some garrison chores, less than half an hour. 2 month later parsing in mythic raids get banned in middle of raid. Please, its not safe at all.

there is huge difference between "bot at your own risk and its never safe" and "bot is detected"
the first u can get away with it, like many have gotten away with it for years. the 2nd u cant, keep making account u will get banned in really short time. So yeah, don't use this bot now
 
I say if the bot attaches to your game, its done like dinner. just a matter of when not if it wil get banned.
