Be aware of shane86 and his goldscam(s).

A friend of mine I shall not mention his name, got scammed by shane as well but the other way around.
My friend paid for gold, and shane told him he should make him guild leader of his guild so he can put the money on the guild bank. Unfortunately shane took gold OFF the guild bank, to be accurate 43k gold. Miraculously he got his money back, but the 43k gold is what he kept.

Little sneaky rat...:mad:
 
The guy should be perma banned from the forums and have his GB licence removed if he's scamming members of the forum
 
He is not a business guy.
He is just a jerk living in a dark cellar with his fantasy girlfriends ripping of wow players.

More like IP banned then he cant make another account etc. Like i said before mods should see if anyother accounts and the one i mentioned to see if they are the same IP
 
Well, im glad it came out into the open. Sorry for your loss, but thanks for revealing the truth.
Shame he didnt make a post though, flame wars are fun. No homo.
 
heres the thing, this is exactly the reason why we dont allow WTB, WTS or WTT posts on this form, its too messy, and if someone fails, it not only looks bad on the person who did the wrong doing, but it looks bad on the from/community. i saw the thread a few days ago, and if i would have the access i would of gotten rid of it. its just not worth it.

+1 I do think though people should need proof though for admin to ban etc. Not saying i disagree i also think hes a scammer mainly due to his friend telling me to add him andt hen wanting me to sell him gold etc.

i have gotten reports about your signature because of "Reporting what server hes gold farming/selling on in his profile signature." while its not against the form rules to do so, as you have it. i think its still walking a fine line.
 
And his guide to wow fortune he wants to sell on this forum. Another scam. Dont buy it.
 
How am I not surprised. That guy was full of bs, with his "original" guides and unrealistic $$$ income. Sorry for your loss man, just don't give your gold to people full of bs. tough lesson :(.

Isnt it against the rule to tell about the reports u got in a public thread?
I would say thats a violation of privacy.
