BattleGround Botting --- How Safe Is It Really? ---

Botted Rogue in 2 days full s11 works perfectly... BUT in 1 BG 1 Rogue shouted another guy as botter and all shouls report him, they did he was kicked out of the BG and guess banned. But he seemed to not use HB .

I use bg's all the time to gear out my 85s, no bans. I would say it's pretty safe as long as you have a decent cc and plugins (etc glue for melee).

also my priest and warlock are some how one of the better pvpers in the BG...if that makes sense? i watch and i see my guy take on 3 at a time alone and it puts up a fight

just as is...but there fully geared 4.6k+ res 8.5k+ spell power 155k+ hp, so it helps, but kinda surprised when i see my guy destroying people. theirs nothing special that was done.

For me it works great. So far geared up my mage and now finishing priest.

BGbuddy (all BG-s) and ArcheologyBuddy are the only bots that can be left alone (fully afk-able) although for BGBuddy try to get good CC.

For Mage amazing is Amplify...plays way better than some random real players noobs.

For Priest there is no great CC but singular works fine (not great but ok since rest of CC for this class are crap)

Yes I do, it's risky however, especially with the badly meshed BG profiles, and the implementation of BGBuddy instead of PvP Bot.

I run FPSware Priest for bg botting. (healing in Disc) works flawlessly atleast for me.

I'd say BG botting is the safest thing after Archaeology at the moment. Been hitting it pretty hard now and even a few 24 hour sessions on throw away accounts.

After being banned every time I use a grinding profile, I wish to know how safe BG botting really is, as I would like to use it.

Compared to grinding anyway, because I really want to get PvP set for character, but I've had 2 suspension and one full account closure, and surprisingly I still have access to it, but I don't wanna get banned again...

I know, why bot then? - - I still use Quest Profile Bot, just not Grind.


If BG bot is the same detection rate as Questing profile, I have no problem...

So, could someone please explain how risky BG botting is (Only 2 Grinding)

I've used the BG ALOT since I've gotten HB. I've not once even gotten a warning on botting. You just have to know how to do it. IE: either be at pc while botting to reply to whispers, and make sure you dont walk into walls, etc. I can't say its 100% safe, but I've been good a while. I literally botted BG's over a week straight, only pausing to buy gear. Then back into BG's. You just gotta find a good profile. Grinding, I believe, is literally the highest voted way to get caught botting. Just follow basic precautions, and you'll be fine. I'll make a tips guide to help out.

Pausing to buy gear? My friend, you need to discover the Mr.Gearbuyer plugin!

The bg bot's fucking garbage, in AV it will run to the wrong first boss with nobody else following/going. Go ahead and use it if you want to get banned, it doesn't act like ANY player does, and it's so obvious when you're using it.

I'll keep RaF'ing in BG's, thanks. BG botting has just about the lowest amount of reports for bans/suspensions from what I've observed and after 50+ level 80's I personally have never had even one warn/susp/ban for bg botting.

Damn safe did more than 150.000 Honor with 4 alts already and leveled my hunter from 60-78 with BG's just to see how it goes in different level stations, havent received 1 whisper or anything and I only use Singular for Beastmastery, I will continue leveling the Hunter with BGBuddy to 85 and see how it goes.

Stucks in several BGs, suspicious mounting/unmounting in situations where _every_ normal player would act differently, sometimes staying and waiting where _no_ usual player would wait. Tried BG Buddy for healers and meeles. Meeles usually made a better "impression" and looked less bottish. But I really wouldn't use the bot for BGs atm.

Just use a good CC and its a pure win. Singular with my Hunter works well 80-84 im 1# oder 2#, with DK use EzFrost and with Shaman use Shamwow as example and it works wonder.

My hunter is now 85 and I levled with BG Buddy from 60 up to 85 with Questing and BG in Mixed Mode and some ArchBuddy. My other charakters are fully equipped with s11 each. Never got a report that Im a botter or smth, just fot banned once for 3 hours because I botted by mistake 30hours straight without pause with BGbuddy.

Aside from stucks, who's to say whether you're playing a BG properly or not? Or normally? Or standing where you should be standing? No one can dictate what you are "supposed" to do in a bg and the proof is the extremely low suspension/ban rate for bg botting.
