So, was thinking of getting a farming account in addition to my regular one, and just try and let it level alone from 1 - 80. I have no plans on buying other expansions, but just thought I'd try it out during the free month. So, is there any gold to make out of that? Are WOTLK herbs and ores worth anything? Also, can blizzard track back to my other account in any way if I login at the same place with both, and send money to the bot acc and then money, which I earn, back to the main acc?

Raf a druid for example,

herb/mine

old world mats on some servers are stupid high - including my server - theres never any on either which is best part

yes they can see accounts on same network and pc etc - upto to refresh your ip and dont be a fool botting 20 hours a day etc

try use a throw away guild bank for moving gold and mats about etc

if you use an account for pure bot then use different info and different email, dont merge onto your main battle.net

Yes. Have a look at your local auction house.

Yes, of course.

Well, won't they trace back through the RaF?

Well, if I, let's say, had a brother which played as well, wouldn't an IP ban be unfair? As far as I know it's quite impossible with dynamic IP's, or is it?

I'm in a serious raiding guild on the main account, that would need me to be in the same guild with both characters, right? Or just temporarirly join and deposit, withdraw gold?

Blizz doesnt do ip bans they treat each account individually its a known fact so ur not at risk.
