Thanks a lot! Mozilla has a problem with that! Downloading now! Guadah! Thx a lot - really helpful and really nice that you respond so quickly! Used the Profile for Kalimdor: It found the NPC flew to it, defeated it and did not complete quest though :(

There is also an Outlands profile in my SVN bundle.

I love how yours does both Alliance and Horde, also how simple and clean it is. Very nice job!

I'm probably missing a plugin for this, but is there a way to write in logic to change the pets it uses before it fights every master tamer? The higher levels ones can't just be steamrolled by any level 25 pet (unless anyone has a suggestion for the ultimate 3 pet setup for this). Maybe a quest behavior or plugin to basically switch to the optimized team before entering battle?

What you can do, is add a SWAPOUT EnemyPetType EQUALS ELEMENTAL (for a mechanical, since they suffer from elementals)
SWAPOUT EnemyPetType EQUALS BEAST for critters etc etc.
Might not be ideal, but should avoid the worst scenario's.

Will think of a decent solution for this, just dont expect it soon ;)
 
thanks, appreciate the fast response. Quick follow-up on this - does the swap happen before battle or after it engages? In an ideal scenario it would load up the correct team prior to engaging.

A small "pet" project (pun intended) of mine is to combine the daily profiles that are out there currently and have the toon just start in Shrine and hit up all the daily tamers for bags. To make sure it's fully automated (as from my experience current profiles don't deal well with losses to master tamers) it would be neat to have the right team in place before engaging the tamers.

Pokehbuddy changes the pet order 1 microsecond before entering a wild pet battle.
Since these are not wild battles, pokehbuddy doesnt change the pet order.

What would be possible is to check if one of the tamers is nearby (range < 30) and then swap the pets around as predefined by the user.
 
Gotcha, so it would be something along the lines of:

<CustomBehavior File="RunMacro" Macro="/summon [pet name]" NumOfTimes="1" WaitTime="1000" />

I guess that would work for the pet in your first slot but not sure about the rest. Will test it out and see if that works.

No, summoning is something else than putting it in your team.
Check out the lua for C_PetJournal.SetPetLoadOutInfo

I'm having an issue started using the kalimdor questing profile to start doing all the quest's and leveling the pets but it just says moving to quest pick up then stops about 10 yards from the trainer in org and sits there and does nothing
 
Same problem as m86, except id does not move at all.
 
I'm having the same issue whereas my character will fly and interact with the Pet Battle Trainers, but won't engage the actual fight. The bot will just stand there try to interact, cancel it, try again, cancel it over and over.
 
Ill take a quick look at these profiles after today's raid. Might be able to fix em. No promises though, if an experienced profile writer wants to take a look, be my guest :)
